What is with all the complaints

I have been noticing that in almost every forum, there is some kind of complaint of the game, and i find alot of them make no sence, or are just retarded.

1.) Halak, Russian, NOBODY GIVES A **** WHAT THE TANKS, HELICOPTERS, OR ANYTHING ELSE IS CALLED, GIVE IT A REST. How many posts have you guys used to argue about the names, you 2 are the only ones that notice, or even care.

2.) Why get rid of the birds. Spitters can be useless vs planes late game. If you make an army of aboms, siege zombies, or anything else, the best way to defend them agaist air are birds. They can go over water without upgrading, the have no food limit, and they are alot faster.

3.) Why get rid of the dogs? It doesn't matter if they are realistic. They are a fast unit zombies can use to take a base behind the humans and start building an army. They also arn't bad early game vs humans. Numerous times i have used only dogs and taken out turkey and Greece easy.

4.) Spitters are fine the way they are.

5.) Aboms don't need a a bigger food limit. If the zombies make a huge army of amobs, take them out with missiles. Also if they got a huge army of amobs, that is probaly because they have been saving up for along time. 4k for the upgrade plus 500 apiece is alot of gold.

6.) Telsa are good units to take out stronger zombies.

7.) Phalanx towers are fine. Maybe increase the cost so it is harder for humans to just build up towers, but dont get rid of them.

8.) Making planes less effective against zombies would make them worthless. They cost alot as it is. Ships arn't that effective against zombies, why make them any weaker? Maybe decrease the amount of damage that guns system thing does, but that's it.

9.) Flame troopers don't need an epic buff, they are pretty good as it is. Maybe a small buff, but not that much.

I'll probaly add more later, but i want to get this out there before i forget it.

Nobody ever suggested removing them...

9.) Flame troopers don't need an epic buff, they are pretty good as it is. Maybe a small buff, but not that much.

They are useless as is -.- but they dont need a massiv ebuff just a casting spell like flmae strike

6.) Telsa are good units to take out stronger zombies.

yes thats true and thats what i normaly use them for... but the thign is that other then that they ar eno wourth the cost...*though i love them for anti abom and always will*

agreed other then decreasing damage.

Agreed and they are useful, they are just hard to aim right, witch is why they have no food cost and only cost 5 gold

And that is why dogs should be removed. They are totally imbalanced when massed against cities, they can level them way too damn fast. 12 zombies 6 dogs I bet the dogs will level a city faster

It would be nice if they could still hit air because of the lame copter rushes

They are, but the cost is too high, they should cost less then the phalanxes or the phalanxes cost more then them, because infantry should be cheaper then defenses.

And planes are a kill all for zombies once you get a lot with some phalanxes, one city with an airport surrounded by phalanxes can slaughter the 10 aboms the zombies can have max, because of their stun, also the flame strike from the f16 is powerful enough that it can slaughter zombies before they can move and can attack before infectors or birds can kill it. To add on top of that the flame effects stack.

Flame troops are fine as is, 6 of them with medics and some ranged back up are very very strong.

I have found a resolution or the dogs... take their ability to attack buildings and mechanical units away... for a dog they should be crushed under tanks and well never realy seen a dog bust Dona door either>>

I'm lowering gold bounty of birds to 1 and decreasing their cost to 1. They are meant to be used in flocks of 12 or more. 48 birds (4 groupings of 12) should not be considered excessive to take down a late game airforce. Dogs are meant to be the ones to quickly spread infection. The Black Plague was quickly spread by rats, the Z virus can be spread by dogs. They are meant to be a fast and manouverable unit for the Z. Dogs may see another nerf. Both dogs and birds are meant to be a fast and cheap unit that can be used en-masse to overwhelm the enemy. And just FYI try 6 gatling gunners vs hundreds of dogs.

Spitters can still attack air if upgraded to Infectors. This feature will be kept. If you want to deal with copter rushes use birds. They are cheap and I've lost Russia because I got sloppy, zombies took a city, and then leveled my choppers with birds, spawned an Abom and went through my early army.

Rats were not the only thing to help the black plague spread, in fact it never would have reached Europe if it had not been for the Mongols, regardless though. According to the lore of the book and the game name for the unit, they are not infected, just feral, so they should not even be able to infect technically, so I think removing the ability to hit buildings on the dogs would help balance them greatly, since they are also more useful then rage zombies and cost less.

your right about telsa needing a cost reduction, but i saw once or twice it being mentioned to be taken out because it is useless.

With the dogs, i still think they should be stronger vs cities, yes maybe alittle weaker vs them, but not much. If the zombies don't have a unit that can take out cities fast, and are cheap, they are not going to have a chance if turkey/russia is good.

In the book, feral dogs are mentioned, but they are not a unit that attacks the actual human armies, they are simply packs of wild "domestic" dogs. The dogs should have 2 hp because since when does a dog need to be shot more than once to die? They are feral dogs, not zombie dogs (only humans can become zombies, in the book at least) so they shouldn't take a long time to kill (like Zs do). They should also have a reduced attack. A dog's bite cannot kill someone as fast as a machine gun. To make up for this, their movement speed should be increased, making them a more specialized unit that the zombies will not use simply to take cities. According to the book, the dogs cannot carry the virus, so maybe they should have an ability similar to a disease they are carrying. This could be done by using a simple slow poison ability that dissipates after a minute or two. This would make the dogs excellent for weakening an army BEFORE the zombies arrive, making it more realistic and adding a new level of tactics.

This would require another major change in the stats of rage zombies so they can step up to fill the gap we would be opening by changing the dogs like this. But it does sound interesting.
