![]() | The Modern Battleship The current battleship unit in the game has no actual purpose. It's actually completely worthless. This has drawn my attention some time ago. So when talking it over with Hiyousuck recently we came to the idea that we should turn it into a naval support platform. The ieda is to remove it's attack and instead give it 100 mana burning aura (no mana cost, it represents various small arms the ship is carrying) mig missile spell (5 mana cost and lowered cooldown) howitzer shot (1 mana cost, and lower cooldown to represent several guns firing off the ship) mlrs spell (10 mana cost with lowered cooldown) The cost of the ship would also be raised to around 300 gold and 100 lumber. The ship would recharge mana at munitions depots just like regular artillery, except that you would have to build them close to the water. |

![]() | Re: The Modern Battleship Well atm the aircraft carrier is almost useless if you don't pile them up against the undead... i mean 1200 health and the attack of two phalenx guns it to much... maybee give them mana and a spell called airstrike(Use the mig skin for the projectile) Wich would do 100 damage to a sed unit :/ |

![]() | Re: The Modern Battleship The power in an aircraft carrier is not the whepons it directly attacks with it is the airplanes you should be refueling there Usually a fleet has more then carriers in fact carriers are very few because you do not need many a lot of the fleet is cruisers and other small fast support ships. ![]() | Re: The Modern Battleship Carriers can't realy repaire plains... well to a point they can... But in the end they need to hit shore to get parts for repairs etc suplies...but aircraft carriers are used for launching airstriekd away form an air field. |

![]() | Re: The Modern Battleship halak LISTEN TO YOURSELF. An airstrike is when someone calls in planes to attack an area. Our carriers alrdy do airstrikes and we do it manuelly not with spells. what your suggesting is already in the game but in a menuel not automatic form. |

![]() | Re: The Modern Battleship Drunk be a little more specific when describing why. I'll look at the Phoenix Fire spell in a bit and see if it would work as well, but currently I do have a working ability that does low damage per second to everything within 400 range, which is what we need. |

![]() | Re: The Modern Battleship ...and you call yourself a mapper *shakes head* Using immolation is nasty it looks bad and the animation is gonna be way harder to do unless of course you want a bigass circle of fire on a battleship. Using PP makes **** easier tin that you don't have to use triggers for it and can just change the animation to the roflcopters attack and remove buffs. |
