all troops have a level 1-10 but does the level effect the game play?

on creep troops if u controll them it shows the lvl any way you can stop that?

it does matter some, for example, some spells can only be cast on units under a certain level

No. It only effects stuff like erm, Possession and Charm.

Like the others said it really only makes a difference spell wise. But to make a real difference you would have to edit the damage it causes, armor, HP, mana, or w/e you want to change in each level. Other wise you can make a unit that says lvl 1 and a bunch others that go through 1-10, they would be exactly the same unless you change the stats or give it spells that require a specific level.

Also, if a unit is classified as "Creep", it will show the level.

No, only ones made by blizzard do. If you want higher levels to give bounty, you go to object editor, and scroll down until you see bounty, and the "bounty base" Will be the amount you will get, the rest will just add little more too it. Like instead of just getting 200 and you mess with the numbers it might give you 235, 215, depends what you put in.

All units have bounty, the default is 20 Gold, which you can change this.
