![]() | Personal Review of Wolf Packs Yes, I'm copying Panther, because I liked this idea. As of version 1a, my personal rating for Wolf Packs is a 6/10. Pros -Wolf Diversity -Many fully triggered spells -Any Blizzard spells are hidden very well -Full JASS for clean and optimized speed -Replayability (to a point) because of the diversity of packs -Secret wolves -A lot of potential for more stuff -Easy to learn gameplay Cons -Gameplay is slow with new players, due to the size of the map -PvP action tends to be rare unless both sides are agressive -Camping. -Balance is still shaky, and new players (Or stupid ones) Have a frequency not to level as fast as older players -The leveling system is very awkward for new players -There is too much food that respawns too often, making starvation unachievable -Game can get boring after a while (but it's still only about half-done) -Some areas of the map are never touched, even though I tend to work the hardest on them (Especially the village) -Because lives can be lost in ways other than being killed by the enemy pack, new players (or stupid players) tend to lose lives before the 2 packs even make first contact -Dieing will set you far away from the pack, and will hinder them (because EXP is dependent on more wolves being around). -Forest-long chases are very common -Terrain is hard to make detailed because of the sheer size of the forest (terrain is hardly noticeable anyways) -Packs without an Alpha Female suffer badly (but that's their fault for not picking one) Neutral -The map is titled after a very old one, so people assume it to be the same. It's not a bad thing, but the questions are annoying. -Some players are stupid and ruin the game for others by being as such. This game requires teamwork or else it fails -Spawn-amounts still need some balancing -Dragons are uber, but nobody thinks that and likes to head up the mountain anyways (and die) -No items (will be fixed later) -No use for gold (again, will be fixed later) If anyone would like to add their opinions, post here. |

![]() | Re: Personal Review of Wolf Packs I liked your self review to, but I think you forgot to mention a few other things. Pros: -Tons of Wolves to pick from. -Easy to learn gameplay. Cons: -Terrain in village needs to be redone, it's to bland. -Wolves could afford to have to work together more as a team, i've seen a few people just go out and solo the whole time, and not end up any worse off for doing it. ![]() | Re: Personal Review of Wolf Packs Certain wolves seemed really inclined to work solo, a few people on my team did it, and they ended up with far more xp then the rest of us. "welcome to Pollama.com the Embodiment of Wc3sear.ch's Esence and avatar of its Rebirth" |

![]() | Re: Personal Review of Wolf Packs I'm really thinking you didn't play version 1a, because I inserted a custom EXP system which grants a base XP, but you get a large bonus if you're with your pack. I'll look into it, but what you're saying doesn't seem right. |
