Epicwar Replacement?

Just looking for opinions. It's in its very early stages, and the style is just for testing.

But it's also my first fully-custom-coded site.

Epic War? Why? Hiveworkshop. Quality maps over crappy hacked maps any day. I don't go on Epic War for that reason, even if HWS is made of a bunch of old pricks as their mods and admins who support DarkDickWeed.

You're too late Apples, Hive already took that position as a mini EpicWar. Why do we need another anyways?

Complete waste of server space, man. And this doesn't look a thing different from EpicWar anyways.

looks ok, but maybe too hard to find? with epicwar, you just search epicwar. with this, you have to find the correct section on Dubhappy.

PS: what is dubhappy about anyways?

Hmph, very nice. I don't think he means for it to be a ground-breaking world changing site, he's probably doing it for coding practice. Very nice indeed, I'll take it the glitches and the nasty-looking default-ish text are because it's in it's early stages. Extremely well done, dude.

Well I do intend for it to go somewhere, but it's also the testing grounds for my CMS.

Course it's state as of last night till now is pretty bad, installing the new style with only the wrapper being done.

Apple's Logic
EpicWar has a very high Alexa. Meaning it gets more traffic than TheHelper, Hive, and Wc3Campaigns combined. EpicWar also tends to be on top of most google searches for maps.

EpicWar is also poorly built and featureless. The design is terrible ( tables... *shudder* ), and the only thing they have going for them is the fancy map reader which Hive has outdone anyway.

'Spidering' the maps off of EpicWar, and placing them on a site with much better SEO, should result in that site raising to the top of the Google Searches. Once traffic starts flowing, features will be added, along with a rating system similar to that of http://www.newgrounds.com

Then models and other resources will be added just in time for the next generation.

I would hope you would direct traffic to other Wc3 sites to help them out rather than leeching from EpicWar for your own gain. That's actually really low, if you're just doing it to be better on the Alexa charts so your version of EpicWar becomes more popular (which probably will never happen, just because EpicWar is EpicWar).

By the way, your "theme" is complete crap. Black on silver is alright, but the freaking text is black, so you can't read anything. On that note, the layout is glitchy. Pictures aren't matching up to titles.

no i don't think that you will replace epicwar for a few reasons

1. your name is too random blank.blank.com is ALWAYS a bad idea

2. it's epic war and it already has too many people using it that i doubt people will use yours even if it is more flashy

Along with any judges who want to condemn you for something like, grabbing a 13-14 year old by the tits and ass, and almost raping her, to stop her crossing a street because a lorry would have ran her over if she did.

But Wc3Happy hasn't been indexed by Google yet. I don't think. Well, here's a plan, type EpicWar over 9000 times in a page which is unaccessable from the main page, and then people who Google Search something like "Phase Killer Epicwar" it'll come up to show wc3happy! Maybe.
