And you have to open your firewall to all porst 6112-6119. Opening 1 of the 8 ports still means you have 7 more to go. |

![]() | Re: Hosting custom games! HELPP !! I found Portforward to be relatively useless for my router. What is the router model # or the service you use? Consult their website for a better chance at solving this, give them a call, drop them an email, etc. Otherwise, you have to access the router manually. Heres the tutorial I just posted to accomplish that: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] |

![]() ![]() | Re: Hosting custom games! HELPP !! Just follow the portforward instruction step by step. It should work if you do everything it sais correctly. The guide DID say to open 6112-6119. Also you could try closing your firewall just to see if it does work without your firewall just to find out what part isnt working. Don't forget to enable warcraft 3 in windows firewall too, it's easy. Configuration screen--internet connections--right click on your internet connection, last option--advanced--windows firewall options--exceptions, add program ( for me: C: program files/warcraftIII/warcraftIII.exe ) click ok--copy the name Warcraft III(The Frozen Throne maybe), it's not important but maybe here you made a mistake because now(click ok again)--add port name: (paste the name here, maybe it won't work if you entered the name wrong or w/e didn't test it out) Warcraft III Port: 6112, now click ok and you should be fine. This way you can add more ports, you only need to add warcraftIII.exe once of course. Also don't forget to set the port u want to use in warcraft itself under options gameplay port: 6112 (or another one) Also i saw a instruction movie on youtube once, i'll try to find and link it, but till i do you can search yourself Cannot find the one i liked but to make it easy here are some: http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...g&search_type= Of course it can be that your router is completely different and no video help is available. Well maybe it can be of any help. Also, this doesn't seem to be needed for me, i only opened 6112 and 6113. For different IP adresses both connected to the same router, because it doesn't let me open the same port for a different IP. I hope that some of that can help you. ![]() | Re: Hosting custom games! HELPP !! Other than following the above listed sound advice. You can set your router virutal server settings to DMZ. This setting basically opens ALL your ports. NOT recommended. BUT... it will allow hosting. Seriously though... follow the above comments FIRST. And consult the manufacture of your router... if your under 18.. Ask your parents to do it for you. ![]() |

![]() ![]() | Re: Hosting custom games! HELPP !! Not being able to host is better then opening all ports. If you really want a virus quick that's the way to get one. |
