when i play footman i see people lvl so fast i just dont belive it they get 4-5 lvls ahead of most poeple in the game. so please if u know some good tips on how to lvl up fats i would greatly appriciate it

thye probably micro a lot. they don't just leave their hero in the open and send footies. they might also be buying tomes of powers

All about the micro. If you can spot a hero you think you'd be able to knock down in the next few shots you gotta rush over there. Most people just send units in then maybe they'll go back to their base to read up on stuff they can do and they completely forget their hero or they go "afk" or say "I was typing". This one guy just usually attacked once, used a skill, then sat their taking a beating.

Speed-leveling is the best way to win since once any hero gets a sufficiant amount of power thy can plow down armies without a problem (major issue =/ ).

If you ask me units are only good right at the beginning and toward the end when you're extremely rich cuz with any hero armies are nothing until they hit those final tiers with several upgrades.

I'd say that it depends on luck too, cuz if u go random u could make the game easy to you.. and there's the point that u might get an unique hero while choosing random so that'll help u a LOT on lvling fast i think

I disagree LunarDiviner. For me units are very importain even in the middle of the game. I tech undead and upgrade their speed and attack. They can kill almost anything unless its really powerful. I barely use my hero unless i have to. Those ghouls leveled up my hero about 10 levels just by keeping it alive with the ghouls doing all the work. But when I get Beastmaster then it becomes what LunarDiviner said. I level up my Beastmaster with tome of power then use the summons to get enough gold for any tier 5.

I have a replay of my hero owning groups of gargoyles but im not shure if it works.
And i mean OWNING groups of gargoyles.
