What is warcraft IV about? does anybody know? is it much different than Warcraft III? When is it coming out? What do YOU think is going to be in it? Why am i asking YOU? but really, if you have any information about it, please share it here!

Warcraft IV will never come out. If it did it'd just be like an expansion to WC3: TFT.

I would really like to see it as another RTS, but with WoW killing off and changing lore that hope slowly diminishes...

isn't blizzard supposed to announce a new game/expansion or something like next month at some convention or somethin

A warcraft 4 would be tough to do, mabe they could make a prequel

i've got to say, if WoW wasn't $15 a month i'd be playing it. have u ever played it? the game is unbelievable, its like the uber everquest. an RPG with great graphics, in 3d, awesome gameplay, and the ability to play with anybody in the world. its too much to resist

. well, the $15/month helps make it easier to resist.

Why would they create another RPG with Wow out? i mean WoW is one of the best selling games on the market.

I downloaded the free trial of WoW and played it. I hated it....it was so boring, just running around killing things over and over to get levels.

meh there probably won't be any more major warcraft games until after starcraft II comes out...so my guess is no Warcraft IV or update until 2010 at the very earliest. 2015 is a better guess though, unless Blizzard goes all EA.

Well, Sephiroth said that his friend in Ohio got one of the 100 state-wide beta versions, so i know that it will be an RTS.

well why wouldnt they add in a warcraft 4 and also to whoever said it would prolly be a prequel why would it? there is still plenty that can happen after arthas becomes the lich king and illidan dies because a army of demons capable of taking on the world wont give up that easily and kil'jaedan is still alive and if u play wow u find out that illidan never actually died so there could still be a huge ass war

Yeah Illidan didn't die like everyone thinks. Blizzard said that they didn't like the fact that they didn't have enough time to make a cinematic of Arthas and Illidan's fight which ended looking like Illidan did die. Or something like that. I just read it somewhere.

And I'm wondering how many expansions they will make for WoW. Will they really stop at just one. Or would they just make like a bunch.

I'm sure they will try to keep Starcraft at least. If they end it too soon. It would cause a huge outrage on the Koreans. And if they end making RTS games. Then many fans would leave. And if they charged money for the RPG games they make. Then they would lose more people.

it costs money to play wow and that has put a lot of people off of it and if the rts's are gone that will take out most of the blizzard fans so i dont think they will stop but for now world of warcraft will be there major consern

The only reason that WoW is so big is that there are millions of Warcraft and Starcraft fans that picked up on it right away. So they would probably keep the RTS's going, at least to please the fans. I hope that they don't charge for Battle.net though...

PS: I think that Pandarens are going to be a new race in it!

I remember, my friend told me wc3 was supposed to have +2 new races, Emerald dream and the other I don't remember probably burning legion or something like that perhaps they will make an expansion with those two new races btw someone talked about Blizzcon is it still plausible to say that they will announce a new game?
