just wanted to see how every1 feels about dota and clan dota

Do you mean that Clan DotA here? Well lets see. DotA is a fun game but I do feel that it isn't really noob friendly due to many players having played the map for months. And there is always one guy who isn't a noob in a noob game. As for the clan. MoonRazer is one of the nicest person on the internet I have met. And the clan is usually reflexed on their leader so it's a good clan.

yea dota just annoys me, now dota the game is pretty fun, seen better, and its not nearly as fun as other AoS's in my opinion, but i hate the players, iv only played one dota game where i wasnt yelled at for every time i died or ****ed up a little, and i basically won that game for the team so they couldnt say much, iv seen the clan Dota forum on this site, and it seems ok, but im guessing the clan/forum is pretty dead

is this another "we hate dota" thread? cuz i am geting sick and tired of people saying **** about dota. I mean if you learn to play it you will see that its one of the best maps out there. I used to be a dota hater, once some really nice dude gave me some practice matches with him i became pretty good and started loving the game.
Dont listen to all the hardcore dota fags out there who scream at you if you **** up a bit, just play the game and you will know how really good it is.

Oh. If it's about DotA. Do I personally like DotA? No. It's not because of gamesplay. It's because I have such a hard time playing it. Would I like it after I played about 5 times and actually do well in them? Yes I would.

I really like DotA, but i hate the ppl that play it

If someone calls solo and they dont get it, you either get kicked, or violently screamed at, lol.
And everyone bitches about maphack and that stuff, and sometimes ppl actually do maphack.

But its a fun game, with original hero ideas, most of them

well i have taken the time to play the game, and i like it, just not nearly as much as i like other AoS's (like Legends of Eternity, Land of Legends (2), Age of Myths, Enmity Campaign) though Enmity has gotten kind of old, and iv never played the full version (iv only played the beta, im assuming theres a full version)

well all of them, theyr all AoS's (Aeon of Strife 1st kind of map like this ever) so all of them are like that, which is why they are comparable to Dota, because theyr the same style of map.

So a quick question comes to mind. DotA is one of the earliest AoS for WC3. Do you think that it's just because people got bored with lanes, heroes, and creeps. Come on. It's boring because I can't even go on b.net without seeing at least one DotA game. So people likes it the best Heroes, lanes, and creeps style AoS map. So to people every other one is just plain useless. And in my opinions their creators don't work or care enough.

basically, i think that the newer versions are only so popular because even if the version sucks, the fans will love it because its new.

wait what? i dont really understand your question but i think dota is a pretty good game, but its not as good as some other AoS's i see out there (as previously mentioned) iv played all these games and i like them, now for me every game gets a little boring if i go overboard on it, but if im not constantly playing it, it will stay fun, and if it does get boring i just play other things for awhile.

Alright, i love dota. i think its the best map out on B.net at the moment. but you have all made very good points. It is not noob friendly at all, not in the least. even if you rock and mess up here or there people scream at you calling you a noob. then when you own you get called a hacker. its a little too competitive out there but the game PWNS. About the new versions automaticly being bettter than the old ones...thats reallly not true. Ever noticed that a new dota version comes out like every 2 weeks? its because of all the complaints about the bad stuff in the old versions. The fans all play the new version because of any new stuff they need to become acquainted with. Thats one of the best things about dota, you can't get bored with it because its constantly changing.
Btw, you can't get kicked in DotA. there is no kick, that is unless you were playing a edited map in which case that hardly counts.


So its clear which one i picked

I believe he means kick as in the host using the custom kick. I'm really starting to hate the custom kick. I always have to host the game I'm good at because I'll get kicked when I join a game by the host.

Meh I only use ban list for people who need to learn how to be curtious
Kicking someone for being good upsets me I have had that happen a few times too
And custom kick I have never used but I have seen it used but never to kick someone for being good :/ that is just stupid
