I host games alot, i was wondering what people thought about people who host games, and then leave when they loose, D.Cing everyone else. I wont give my opinion yet.

I always stay in the game unless something important comes up and I have no choice. Even if I lose a game I stay around until the entire game is done. I hate noob hosts because they play a game and they are losing. Then it's automatically the game's fault and leaves when he was the one who picked the game in the first place.

Well in many games you are automatically defeated and disconnected when you lose, so you dont really have the option to stay in game and twiddle your thumbs

Just to clarify for people...

Player 1 (Red) is not necessarily the host. Even if it says "Host".
If the host leaves, and there is no other host in the game, it ends.
If the host leaves, and there is another host in the game, there is a 80% chance it will continue.

Mr.Apples can u qft on the 80 precent thingy? And, isnt it true if someone else looses (beside the host) they can leave when ever they want? Shouldnt the host have special privileges such as chooseing when to leave when ever they want, since without them no one would be playing the game in the first place?

Honestly, if your host, do whatever you want....if people don't like how you host, they can learn to host themselves.

I often get pissed before I could host. In Ultimate Footmen the host would make rules up and then he would be the person who broke them. Then he would lose. Then I laughed.

i think hate when hosts leave the game when they are losing and when they kick the people that are beating them. when i host i never quit unless everyone in the game agrees to a remake

I was playing this TD. There are 3 teams of 2. Well the first two teams died early and the team I was on was the only one living. Which is weird because I actually suck at TD and I played it for the first time.

I think the host should be free to do whatever he wants when he loses. If they're to lazy to figure how to host its their own fault.

I dont think threatening to leave if someone attacks you is fair though, which ive seen happen plenty of times.

well its not always somebodys fault if they cant host but in my case it is because im too lazy too host but since the host is hosting that game then he should be able to do what he wants with the exclusions of maphacks and custom kicks
