 | DirectX rollback/uninstall help!!!! Hey, guys i need your help so much. I need to uninstall directx or at least(acctually preferably) rollback to an earlier version of it. my OS is XP and i dont want to pay $12 to do it. If anybody knows of a free directx uninstaller/rollbacker that works for XP please tell me. i need your help! Hey if anybody needs any triggering done or has any questions about it just PM it to me and i will help you to the best of my ability. Quote:

 | Re: DirectX rollback/uninstall help!!!! Sorry you can't.  Had the same problem. All you can do is; 1. Reinstall Windows 2. Wait for a new version of DirectX. (Which will only come to Vista (DirectX 10.0)) |

| Re: DirectX rollback/uninstall help!!!! eh yeah....i can.....i've had the opputurinty twice already but i had to pay to do it. If you dont belive me then look up DirectX Happy Uninstall or DirectX Rollbacker .35 they both work but you have to pay. it annoys the crap out of me when i am sooo close then they say, "Oh sorry this can only be done by registerd users, please register now" then it says the fee is like $12.95 so i can do it but i just want a program that anybody knows of that works for XP and you dont have to pay!
