Hey guys, this just came to me. its really not very important and if u dont like this as a topic dont answer it, i just wanted to see if anybody has the same views as i do.

Why do we call it Footmen wars? i can understand in the begining, when all there was was footmen. but now there are different tiers, different units. different everything. I was just thinking if ever somebody wanted to make something really original they could rename it something else. Just my thoughts. anybody ever think the same?

Footmen means an infantryman. Infantryman means a soldier of the infantry(really it is no matter how hard it is to believe it). Infantry means 1. soldiers or military units that fight on foot, in modern times typically with rifles, machine guns, grenades, mortars, etc., as weapons.
2. a branch of an army composed of such soldiers.

So footmen is another word for units I guess.

Actually if it included flying units like gargoyles, chimeras, fairie dragons, etc., it technically shouldn't be called footmen wars; only if the units were all walking on foot. Heroes still count as walking on foot

Well for the most part it's a footmen wars. Lets just go with that. Or else someone will make a really long speech about it and I don't want to read any long speeches unless it has the words 'New','Version', 'Ultimate', 'Footmen'. 'READ', 'STICKIES', 'MORONS', 'ShadowofDarkness','moron',and 'KILL.' :P

Its like why am I named MrApples. The Footmen has more meaning to it then well, a Footman.

COMPLETE ANIHALATION OF EVERYTHING USING EVERYTHING sounds kinda dumb...but im sure there is a better name, its just the whole genre is called footmen wars

I heard a long time ago when footmen wars was just starting it didn't have heros and the units were ground units so that's how it got it name but I forgot where I got that from.
