Has anyone else read these books?

For those that haven't, ASOIAF is a currently 4 book series (going to be 7 by the end). It is fantasy, but darker than most. It takes place on two continents, and focuses on the wars between the various houses of the Seven Kingdoms as they jostle for power, and on Danaerys Targayen's adventures as she attempts to reclaim her throne. As of book 4, there is no real good vs evil conflict, though one appears to be on the horizon. Characters are gray for the most part-few are either pure good or pure evil, and the good ones often don't win. Overall, I really liked this series, even though the description probably sucked.
