The Wheel of Time Thread

Discuss the Wheel of Time series! I really liked it when I first read it, before I saw all the internet bashing of it, and before I read a Song of Ice and Fire. I still find it to be decent overall, and I still find some parts to be just amazing (Emond's field battle, Dumai's Wells, and prob a half dozen other parts that I can't remember right now). I'm hoping that RJ can live long enough to bring A Memory of Light back up to the quality of the early books and go full circle, and end the series well. If he does, Crossroads of Twilight will be forgiven. He needlessly slaughtered many trees for that.

Well it's already partially done, and there is a good chance his wife will finish the book. And he told his family the plot and ending, so the end will be known in some form, be it books or notes.

Oo, any WoT Readers still around? If you've been keeping up on the news, they're working on making graphic novels for the books like they did with The New Spring or whatever, and the last book is coming out at 2009, being written by someone else. It'll be around 2000 pages, I believe its called a Memory of Light or wtfso?

Yeah I've read all the books in the series, and for some reason I didn't even notice how bad Crossroads of Twilight was. My biggest dissapointment was (spoiler time) Rand losing his left hand to that fireball, like WTF!?!?!?!? Bitch plz...but yeah, kickass series, gonna have to read the last one when it comes out.

Crossroads of Twilight was bad? I thought all the books were kickass nomatter what people said, the first one was a bit slow thats it. Dude, I'm going to have to collect all those books and reread them, I can't even remember ****.. Rand loses his hand? ?_?
