![]() | An AI map. I think that an AI version could be a big improvement for Ultimate Footmen. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is a great example of a good AI. In the OLD topic, they discussed really, advanced ad smart AI. I don't think that would be necessary for people that just wanted to test or learn things. I don't know much about world editor but the above map is a perfect example that a decent AI is possible. Something like this would be perfect for Ulty Footy. Simple, upgrading tiers, controlling heros and footmen. Buying upgrades and items and using the "marker on the minimap" function to warn AI to attack where. To work out the difficulties, higher levels can make more money on kills, start off with more and maybe even level up a bit faster. Check out the map and the AI, on insane, evcn some of my pro friends can't win, where on easy, the newbiest n00b could win. The reason I want an AI for Ulty Footy is... well.. its so Ultimate. :lol: So anyone, with skills, capable of making AI. Try it out and post it! Or at least tell us that you can make a map, even a test. We'll all beta test it. :chessey: |

![]() | Re: An AI map. Hmm thats a good idea, that way you could play Ultimate Footmen by yourself or with one other person, just for the fun of it. I dont know much about AI, acctually i tried it once and SUCKED. i couldn't do jack. so i dont know how complicated it would be. but yeah it seems like a good idea. Keep send units, level hero and learn spells 4. Hero low health send home. Do the same again and again and again and ag... you get the idea. |

The one i did, to make it hella hard, upgraded atk/def/race upgrade +1 at certain points.. and id hav like footmen 0-0, theyd hav tier 1 7-7 >.>.. But as zero already said.. thats all the stuff u need to do (at least all i did) EDIT: Heya, found that AI map i made, so if you want to take a look/play it, its uploaded in this post! Oddly enough, Vexorians Optimizer INCREASED the file size on the map, so dont be fooled. Use the one that doesnt have (Optimized) to look at, and the one with (optimized) to play |

![]() | Re: An AI map. The idea of making an AI map is a good one at the core, but there really is no match for human allies and enimies which is what Ultimate Footies was made for. How would you ask for gold? How would you coordinate your attacks. It just would not be as much fun as playing via battlenet and I see no real reason to make and AI version. |
