Those of you who have tried learning JASS probably started with Vexorian's Introduction to JASS, right? I know I did. But what I have here is 8 files (7 lessons + Intro file) that cover all the basics of JASS, along with examples of how to make a spell in the last 1-2 lessons. I did not do this whole tutorial myself, rather, it was a collaborated project. The following people from Wc3campaigns.net contributed to the creation:

This covers all the basics, from variables to memory leaks to loops to functions to if/then/elses. I'm hoping anyone who wants better, faster, cleaner, more advanced triggers and maps will look into this and learn JASS for themselves.

Also, I'm open to anyone who would like help cleaning up GUI triggers that seem to be causing large issues pertaining to speed/lag. I will NOT be doing 10000 triggers, nor will I be fixing them for you because they don't work. I will only clean and optimize your triggers from GUI to JASS that lag, are slow/choppy, etc. Also, as a disclaimer, should something not work, I am not held responsible, so always keep a copy of the GUI trigger, disabled, in the map. if you tell me something doesn't work afterwards, send the code and describe what is/isn't happening. If you'd like help, convert the trigger(s) (maximum of five (5) per person per week) to JASS, copy/paste them into individual notepad or word files, and attach them to an email, sending them to:

Be sure to describe what your triggers do, when they start causing lag, and if any other triggers are involved (via globals or calls, etc.)
