![]() | [HERO]Sagnor the Fire Bird ok here is my second attempt to create my hero Sagnor the Fire Bird: sagnor was a pheonix that loved to play pranks on many of the fearie creatures. unfortunatly one day he decided to play a prank on hell itself by using a complex system of pipes to drain a lake onto it (it failed, the water burned up a couple hundred feet above hell). understandably satan was very angry and was swift to impose his vengence upon sagnor. sagnor managed to evade the devil for about a day which only further agrivated him and once satan caught sagnor he stole away sagnors soul and forced him to collect souls of others if he wished to survive. Model: The summoned pheonix Range: Ranged Agility based hero: +2 agi per lvl +1 int per lvl +1 str per lvl his mana would steadly decrease over time (have it decrease at the same rate that you gain mana in the middle or ) Spell 1: Painful Feint (passive) the pehonix would attack multiple enemies at once but only one of the strikes would deal full damage, the others would deal about 5% at first. higher lvls would allow more targets and higher percent of damage. Spell 2: death's trick (triggered when he dies) if Sagnor dies with over x% amount of mana still left y amount of pheonix eggs will appear. every level less mana is neccisary (%), 1 more pheonix is spawned, eggs have increased health, and pheonixs are a little stronger. Spell 3: devour Soul (Passive) Sagnor gained a gift that was collecting souls for satan. the more souls or peices of souls he collects the more of his own soul he gets (mana). a small percentage of his damage to units is converted into mana for himself. higher levels increase percentage of damage. Spell 4: tricksters flight (user casted) sends a wave of pheonixs down a stright path dealing minor damage and confusing units it hits. higher level increase damage and confusion duration. the animation for this would be eithe like dread lords bats or tauren cheiftens shockwave but would have lots of pheonixs instead of bats or a small pheonix instead of the shockwave. **ULTIMATE** (I haven't decided and would like feed back on which ultimate he should have) Pheonix egg (triggered on death): when Sagnor dies he turns into a pheonix egg with 1/3 his normal health and 0 defense. after 8 seconds he will reapper healed 1/3 of the way. this spell would be similar to reincarnation excpept it would trigger deaths trick. it would have a 240 second cool down. higher levels would decrease cooldown, and recover 1/3 more health per level -or- Spirit of the Pheonix (autocast): satan gives Sagnor the power to summon shard of the slains souls and combine them into smaller versions of himself. he would be able to summon small pheonixs from corpses that do a little above average damage, should have a 10 second cool down and each pheonix it summoned would act just like a normal pheonix (loses life constantly) except then when it runs out of life it doesn't turn into an egg it simply dies. higher levels increase the number you can summon (I'm thinking 2,4,6), the strength of the summons, and the size of pheonix so on last level the pheonix's are his size (so that on last level you can't tell the difference between him and his summons). I think that this hero should be in the game because it would be fun to play. it would be a decent unit and hero killer and all its skills are built to add confusion. I think that the actual stats of this hero shouldn't be that high because when you have all these deception skills you really don't need high stats. |

Not too bad of a hero idea, but still needs work. DO NOT MAKE SKILLS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE HERO TO BE A SUICIDAL HERO BTW. Which takes out spell2 and first ulti. Heres a replacement idea i thought of while reading this. Feathers of a Pheonix - By legend, the feather of a pheonix is said to be what contains the life of the phoenix. If any were to be removed, the phenix's life would end. But legend also says, by the ashes of a dead pheonix, rises another. The skill would revive a set amount of units around the hero, friend or foe. After the use of the skill, the pheonix lies in ashes untill another is reborn (egg animation). Each level, the number of units revived goes up, cooldown increases, length in egg form increases. Level1 - 4 units; 50 second cooldown; 5 seconds in egg Level2 - 8 units; 60 second cooldown; 9 seconds in egg Level3 - 12 units; 70 second cooldown; 13 seconds in egg Level4 - 16 units; 80 second cooldown; 17 seconds in egg Level5 - 20 units; 90 second cooldown; 21 seconds in egg Level6 - 24 units; 100 second cooldown; 25 seconds in egg Level7 - 30 units; 120 second cooldown; 30 seconds in egg This is just somthing a randomly thought of, no need to add it if you dont like it. |

![]() | Re: Improved fire bird no offense or anything titan but i dont think that spell would be the best for him because, i fyou were to remove the 1st ultimate then he would be left wi th the other summoning ultimate which i dont think would be the best. maybe instead of the death skill he could have a skill like this: frenzy of the soul (user casted): sagnor reales the souls he absorbed and gains attack and health bonus. i was thinking that he would spend all his mana using this spell and the spell would cost at least half his mana (if possible). he would gain 10% of mana bonus in attack (i.e. if he had 500 mana he would gain 50 attack) and about 50% of mana health bonus (i.e. 500 mana 250 bonus health). higher levels would increase the % of attack by 5 and the % of health by 10. this would be a spell that would be awsome late game and not so good early (level 7 would give him +40% mana, attack and +110% mana, health boost. to put that in perspective if you had about 1500 mana when you max this skill you could potentially get a 600 damage attack boost and 1600 extra health). i don't know how many seconds this skill should lat and would like your thought on this. i think that animation should be simliar to avatar and frenzy but the glowing hands (or wings in this case) would turn blue instead of red. |

But as long as it is not a suicidal spell, its an improvement. That skill idea took me about 30 seconds to think of. ill read the skill next tiem i get the chance to. |

| Re: [HERO]Sagnor the Fire Bird In my personal opinion, the multi-shot, is kind of...Disturbing, buy 6 excaliburs, and level skill to 7, say, its 50% each, thats about 500 damage to a lot of targets, plus, 1000 damage to 1 target, and also, what if there's only 1 unit? Will it take like X amount of shots, and imediatley die? Also, you could just go into base, get excaliburs, kill all units, maybe die, revive, etc, then, it's basically feeding yourself in a rigged way. |

![]() | Re: [HERO]Sagnor the Fire Bird each unit would be targeted by only one shot and yes that would be 500 damage if you bought 6 excaliburs but why the !%@# would you do that. i mean you could make bishop own with 6 excaliburs. and i already agreed with titan that those 2 suicidal spells will be replaced. the ultimate one with the other ultimate and the normal skill with frenzy of the soul. |

Remember there are mana pendants that give 850 to mana EACH, 6 of these would mean xtra 5100. If your going to put this skill in, you need to note that the hero at lvl40 would have only like 200-300 mana, if not less. And then, convert at maxd level, 20% mana to dmg, 25% to health, 20% attack speed, 35% health regen. You need to have base %'s and wats % increase if you do this. But thats a better skill to my oppinion. Also make this skill your ultimate. Then for your other plain skill you could use this... Spell 2: Body & Soul seperation (user casted) By simply touching units, Sagnor is able to temporarily remove a units soul from its body (stuns). Souless bodies take damage over time. Souless bodies are not allied to anyone, nore enemy to anyone, therefore they are unable to be attackd, rendering them invulnerable. Level1 - 2 second stun; 10 d/s (20 dmg); 30 second cooldown Level2 - 4 second stun; 20 d/s (80 dmg); 35 second cooldown Level3 - 6 second stun; 30 d/s (180 dmg); 40 second cooldown Level4 - 8 second stun; 40 d/s (320 dmg); 45 second cooldown Level5 - 10 second stun; 50 d/s (500 dmg); 50 second cooldown Level6 - 12 second stun; 60 d/s (720 dmg); 55 second cooldown Level7 - 15 second stun; 75 d/s (1125 dmg); 65 second cooldown |
