Who would you like to become president?

You can choose from any canidate that was running for the presidency, or was in a primary. IE: hillary clinton.

I myself am not sure who i would choose if i could vote on this election.

Since Hilary dropped out of the race (WOOOT!!!) I guess it's mainly down to Obama and McCain.

I vote Obama, even though I can't technically vote yet

Obama just preaches. McCain has expierence and will WIN the war in Iraq, not tuck tail and run and then have the audacity to sit across the table with the leaders of countries that are publicly anti-USA.

No offence to any fans out there, but I think the current presidential candidates suck. This election is more about making the first woman/african-american to office than really about a good president, in my opinion.

Sorry you have to be so blind to not already realize the president is a scape goat, a head figure, a dog on his leash, the dirt on the ground.. Its only now that people are realizing this, rallying for who they would like to see as president.
In addition, your hate for the presidential candidates is currently going without reason persuaded by your own beliefs, as opposed to the current make up of how you take this for face value.

Regardless, what makes a good president anyway? And yes thats a rhetorical question based that the answer is opinion, especially due to the diversity of personalities all presidents before have offered.

In addition, there is more to the election than a democratic candidate, who is black and not a woman. There is a whole other side that, might I add, is currently just as close to becoming president as his running mate.

Does the President have any power anyway? Anything he does, the Congress has to approve. Like Titan said, a president is like a figurehead, the face of America. Yet despite the fact that his actions are limited the approval of Congress (they can even override vetos), people still blame him for anything that goes wrong (although sometimes it can be his fault).
