![]() | on the human race What does pollama think about the human race, feel free to comment on anything about us. What do you think our origins are, what we do, what we have done, what we are, who we are, how did we do it, why did we do it what we are going to do, and why are we going to? and why we do it, or will do it. And I'd absolutely love to hear your thoughts on ways to improve upon the human race and our practices. The list goes on and on but I don't exactly feel like thinking up anything else, so I'll leave that to you guys. And I hope you have something interesting to say. Personally, I'm growing to hate us. I'm thinking all of this infrastructure we've come up with and what we call civilization, is a lie. You know why, because once you think about it, the human race acts like animals, apes and monkeys especially. You don't even really have to think any more to come to the conclusion that our behavioral pattern came from apes, and not just our looks. I think most of us are fooling ourselves into a blissful state, believing we have shed all of our primal instincts and arrived into a new state of awareness. When really, we are more than anything trapped by these beliefs. Trapped by our history and how closely we follow it, unwilling to accept anything different. Think about the druics, they were able to stop their hearts in order to freak out the romans. And now, thanks to this arrogance I doubt you can even concieve how we could would, or be taught how to do that. We have locked ourselves out of parts of our minds that we can use do do great things(not just stopping your heart and such). Maybe you could slowly use your mind to cause mutations that improve upon your body, or very slowly shape shift. You could make yourself high or relaxed, or reduce pain without using drugs. You could be in complete controll of everything at a snap of the neuron, and maybe even some things outside of your body. Can you even begin to concieve how? I know that I can't. And you know why? I think its because we rely too much on the past for lessons these days, and not enough on ourselves and our curiosity and what could be, instead of what has been. And I ESPECIALLY hate a little thing we came up with called monothiesm. I blame it for hundreds and thousands of years of drowning out the possibilities by shunning the different like a bunch of scared mice, and only believing in the easiest things to believe. I only wish I knew words to explain what we've done to ourselves with religion. Of course I would be, if it weren't for the fact that most forms of writing and language are complex loads of ****. And where are were going? I don't believe, unless we shape up, that we won't be heading anywhere good in the future. I'm not really sure what exactly should be done, I'll have do do a lot of deep thinking before I know. Although, I think the upper half of school, college and junior and senior years of highschool, should be replaced mostly with a form of apprenticeship(which I would say more on but it would take forever and i need to think more on this too.) I think we should destroy monothiesm, most of the infrastrucure of "civilization" And most languages accept the more straightforward and sencible. Maybe one that will spell things how they sound instead of useless complex ways. Such as asthma. Latin I allready know would be a good one. And lastly, I think stem cell research is a good idea, genetic tampering should be welcomed, and all other sorts of useful practices that are shunned because of people whining about ethics. Accept for that hardon collider machine they're building. That idea is simply just stupid. I'm not against it and all, but they should DO IT SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN EARTH. Thats all of my ranting, sorry if I tended to go on and on. Now its your turn. What is your philosophy on the human race? Last edited by kairge; 05-13-2008 at 11:55 PM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: on the human race Heh, commenting on you. Sure, we've blocked out a lot of things we deem impossible, and fallen into this civilization. They're two different ways we could've went, I suppose. We've just chosen a more different one that we enjoy better. With our more complex mind and better ability to understand ****, we've come to prefer these things rather then acting like animals. We'd rather be more intelligent. and we give up certain things for new things. But yes, the future is doom. There are a lot of global threats that have happened due to what we've done. But there are people like me. Hopefully, I'll be dead before anything drastic happens. See, some of us don't care what happens to others as long as our lives are good. > ![]() |
