I have not played Warcraft in about 5 days. My drivers, etc. are the same since I last played. I had just started a game of risk devo, and upon defeating orange (STUPID ORANGE) my comp had a huge freeze and crashed. I had to hard boot. Now Warcraft WILL NOT START. My computer freezes when I start it and warcraft gives me a message telling me to insert the CD (even though it is no longer needed). I tried obeying, and the autostart caused another freeze.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?

Dude, I've had the same problems. Try inserting the CD? Try restarting the computer? I don't know, I tried multiple things and it started working.

Reinstalled game, didn't work, so I edited the registry (don't try this at home) and got it to work. Identified it self as wrong version, so BNET did not work, so I reinstalled again, AND IT WORKED!

This is the problem i had with WC3 on my old comp. Whats this ediing the registry thing?

I got some random registry cleaner from the internet, and deleted all of the wc3 entries (or things that looked like wc3 ).
