![]() | Buying new hardware... tips? Well It is the time I must buy some new hardware. Anyone have recommendations for places to get decent versions of the following...
My computer is 4 years old and designed for business, so it probably does not support newer hardware. |

I suggest finding out specific specs about your computer.. try using Everest from Lavalys - Comprehensive IT Security and Management For router, do you need wireless? For an AGP video card, I'd suggest a Radeon 9000's series model, maybe a 9250.. its fairly old and cheap, still efficient for most games, and definatly efficient for WC3. For RAM, due to an old PC, its suggested that you should go with 2 512mb sticks. Router, personal oppinion drags me towards Linksys. Using Everest, you can get your specific RAM type and your motherboard details, making finding new hardware much easier. |
