Re: help with attachments

maybe you tried to attach it with a slightly off (mispelled/wrong button) tag, or maybe you could have picked the wrong file. if that's not it, and you're sure you did it right, then i have no idea, just try making sure.

MS word 2003, and while I'm talking to you Zero, thanks for merging tox's posts, I don't think that you can do that while being just a regular moderator, I tried to find it, I can merge topics but not individual posts, I should talk about that in Site Discussion...

Re: help with attachments

i'm pretty sure that i have attached a .odt file before, but i could be wrong. .odt is the openoffice.org (linux version of microsoft word etc.) file extension. I don't have linux so don't smite me! anyway, i'm pretty sure that you should make .odt acceptable, if it's not already, because it is just as good as their microsoft counterparts, only free, so a lot of people use it.

As long there is no need for the file type I wont and you shouldn't be able to attach it or SMF has really failed there job :S.

Btw it is not a linux version of word. It's a open source program, a counter to Word. It still missing a lot features meh.. that's off-topic so I will end my post here.

Re: help with attachments

Hmm... then I really can't point at the error.

Then upload it at megaupload or similar?
