House Storage Saving

I think that it would be very useful to allow items to be saved on the house or the Spirit of Gaya. Even though it is possible to just buy items for your off-class, it seems like it would be more intuitive to be able to save your items.

I'd like to have a Masamune and a Dragon Wand, ya know? Tell me what you think.

Well not that we haven't thought of it, it just that the code is too long as it is right now. We hope we can shorten it a bit down for be able to save these items.

Re: House Storage Saving

I know that I'm bumping an old topic here, but if the save codes can be broken into separate sequences we could get around this.

For example, if we had three codes instead of one we could store levels and money, skill points allocated, and items in separate codes.

When we load the game the first code entered could be the levels and money code, followed by an optional skill point allocated code and finally a code to restore your items. Something along these lines anyway.

Re: House Storage Saving

you mean like having "-save","-saveskill" and "-saveitems" functions ??don't know,it sounds useful, but would be too much work for they to create, and for us to do a complete load when the game starts...

Even just a simple -save that spits out three codes, and then a single -load with an identifier built into the code. For example the three codes start with a different letter or something.

Yeah I can imagine it's a lot of work and probably won't ever be considered, but it was just a suggestion. :P

No no the idea is good enough. It just a question about planing it first before jump into it.

Tell you what, I will make a topic in our developer board and I will see what we can make out of it.
