If we are going to take the ribbon which is a standart FF item that you can find in every game then at least thus should be more like the original - even if the map strifes away a little bit so heres my suggestion. The ribbon is the most sought after helmet in the world. => dunnno but helmet somehow sounds ... wrong ... can't find an expression that fits more for me Stats: +50 to all stats 30 sec cd Spell Shield => since i think the spells and so on should be stat-based stats are way more effective then pure hp or mp. Also the item would be a little bit overpowered cuz it would beat (nearly) the ultima weapon up. Spell Shield is the thing that comes most close to what the ribbon is |

![]() | Re: [helmet] Ribbon Aww man~ someone beat me to the Ribbon post Oh well, since I was the first to suggest the Ribbon, might as well add some stuff here =P I 'somewhat' disagree with the Spell Shield being Ribbon's ability I mean, it's just like the thief's passive isn't it? I think the best feature would be to have it prevent all negative buffs from affecting the wearer, like how a 'Purge from Dota' removes all negative buffs from an ally. This way, your hero would not be frustratedly missing all attacks due to a simple blind spell which incidentally NEVER misses, and seems to have a cd of nothing. I say this cause I have used the spirit to dispel it only to have it casted again immediately. So yeah, have the spell shield if you want, but make the main feature it's negative buff immunity =) |

![]() | Re: [helmet] Ribbon a) in regards to this, I was wondering if it was possible to code it so the hero becomes totally immune to negative buffs, I know that some games have heros who remove all negative buffs every x seconds, so if we reduce that duration to like .1 sec or something... b) You may have misunderstood this point of mine... I wanted it coded differently from the Dispel as the current ones remove both good and bad buffs, while I have seen abilities which only remove bad buffs. PLUS, the ability must be automatic and permanent cause spells like blind seems to have next to no cool down meaning that whenever you try to dispel them, the boss casts it again immediately anyway Thats all |
