![]() | Starcraft 1.5 3D Total Conversion Maps Project Introduction Welcome to the New World of 3D Starcraft. Starcraft has become one of the most played games in the world and as players eagerly await the release of Starcraft 2, ive created these SC 2 Concept Maps, to allow for players to experience Starcraft as they have never done before. Totally converted for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, each map comes with lots of new player features, including new units and Abilities taken from the Starcraft's Ghost Game. Thye maps popularity is growing slowly and hopefully it'll be as popular as DOTA, atm I'm preparing to release a new and improved version of each map with more material then ive ever had in a single map then ever before. Its definately worth downloading this project trust me. The maps were intended for online bnet playing only really but due to the large amount of requests for AI comps im looking into add it. |

![]() | Re: Starcraft 1.5 3D Total Conversion Maps Project Introduction If you think the maps pack v4 is good im alrdy working on the new v5 maps pack with even more converting including a working sc armor system, a zerg console skin and thanx to mr apples help ive now compress the maps further to allow for more units to be added which im currently considering on what next will appear in new versions. I would like to apologise to you guys about the poor setup of this forum's page so far on the project, i am really working hard to get the maps out asap so u can enjoy them as much as i have. |

If you use these both in one map, you'll need to use the Widgetizer first, and then use Heavy Locker. Widgetizer is supposed to cut the loading time of your maps by a lot, and Heavy Locker is used to protect maps. Heavy Locker also Majorly Compresses the map, so it gets the size down A LOT. I've attached Heavy Locker and Widgetizer if you wish to use them. P.S. Don't use Heavy Locker 2.8, as many people are having problems with it. Because of this, I use 2.7, and have attached 2.7. Im sorry that i havent been on these forums much since i posted this project a couple of years ago. I want everyone to know i havent stopped working on this project. I have been making alot of massive improvements since the v5 maps pack but the imrpovements have been taking a long time to fix, or find alternate solutions to the problems. Also my real life priorities have slowed down my ability to work on the project like i use to. Anyways if you hadnt see the lastest news on the ModDB homepage ive been working on alot of Starcraft 2 material lately. As it was part of my projects goal to create a Concept Satrcraft 2 ive tried to add as much Starcraft 2 material as i an with what has been release to the public by blizzard. Anyways after at least 6 months of trying to add this new material into a new v6 maps pack ive found it extremely difficult to complete all 9 maps without discovering new material or my real life projects stopping me from completeing the new versions of the maps for the project. So im currently finalising 1 map which ill release very soon that will showcase the new developments and then ill create the new maps pack v6 to the public with all 9 maps and mayb some new ones. |
