Reputation- the fault

the only problem i see with rep is this. I can't give out as much as i want to! seriously, i wish i could spread the love so that those people could spread the love, and people would know what rep is!

suggestion: either add more max rep for 24 hours or somehow give me magic rep powers *wink* so i can rep forever!

Re: Reputation- the fault

Even Global Mods has to follow the daily rep limit. So giving a normal member that ability is out of the question.

Although, If I take a few things into consideration. Such as
1) You were an active member
2) You were here for a year and still here
3) You have the highest post count
4) You do seem to be a person who tries to help other projects by playing them and giving advice
5) You recently finished a map that could greatly benifit from having the guy in-charge to be able to give more rep then the average member
6) During that 1 year stay you are not banned permenatly
7) You are a mod of a board
8) Spring Break started and I feel generous
9) Easter is coming up and I feel nicer then usual

I could give you a little break and give you about 200-250 reps so you will be able to give more repuation to people. I'm assuming that you can give about 5-6 rep every time you +rep someone.

BUT if you decide to take on my offer you have to promise that you will not -rep a person for the remainder of this and next month. I want you to spread rep, not make it harder for it to spread by -rep people.

And don't try to get a more generous offer from me. I shouldn't even give away so many rep to one person. But I need to get rep moving so I figured that you would make my life easier but I have no problem with just working harder by myself.

Anyway how about we raise some of the old members to a rep level and then see if we can get it going.

Let me worry about Rep, Mr. Zero.

Also I don't think it would count. But you have to be the one to tell me that.

Re: Reputation- the fault

It's always fun to have a little something on a forum. Rep, itself, is pointless. But the idea behind having something more then someone else is a fun thing as long as it doesn't go out of control.

Just remember that admins and mods will not favor those with higher reputation but those who followed the rules.

I purposely didn't give myself as much rep as Mr. Zero has now because I knew that he would do something like this and I didn't want to end up on Mr. Zero's bad list.

Reputation itself it pointless, it's just for fun. The little boxes under your post count is another story.
