30 Second Post Rule Bug

For some unexplained reason this, feature of pollama consistently bugs for me, and it doesn't seem to be able to know the diffrence between time at all, sometimes It can be my first post of the day and it won't even let me post. Anyway the thing seems to be bugged. olice:

Re: 30 Second Post Rule Bug

Wrong, the thing has done it to me on multiple sessions, it's a programming flaw again. It's not frequent but it does happen. Then my whole post is lost and i'm generally pissed off.

Re: 30 Second Post Rule Bug

It is not a bug, it is a flood control.

You cannot post within the first 30 seconds of your login.
You cannot post 30 seconds after you have posted.
You cannot post 30 seconds after you have sent a pm
(^Unsure if we have disabled this one...)

The problem with being AFK for some minutes is that the forum logs you out after some time. So you don't appear online. But soon as you log on again (Click on a link with a browser where you are login) the "You cannot post within the first 30 seconds of your login." comes to play again.

Re: 30 Second Post Rule Bug

you should change it to 10 seconds if a bot actually comes here to flood or a person then you can revert it to 30 seconds and can't you delete with the admin control panel accounts and delete all their posts?

Re: 30 Second Post Rule Bug

That isn't the problem. It's just entirely bugged. IT turns out it was counting all of us as having the same IP so we couldn't post within 30 seconds of each other. Apples is working on it suppousedly.

Re: 30 Second Post Rule Bug

That is very odd. I'm certain that the pollama people don't all use the same computer! Also, when you try and post again a bit after it says that i can't post due to the 30-second rule, and it becomes 30 seconds after i last posted, it won't let me in. I think that if you try and post once and it won't let you, you have to wait like a minute to be able to.

Re: 30 Second Post Rule Bug

It displays the IP but apples mesed up when he made it. It counts everyone as same IP, although he set the counter down to 1 second, so we can only not post within 1 second of each other. The bug isn't fixed though.
