Welcome to the first installment of the Official Pollama Newsletter, now as you may know Pollama is run by Mr.Apples, and his staff. I(Panther-Anthro) Editor and Writer of the Pollama Newsletter would like to welcome all of you to read about the great things that are happening in and around Pollama that you may not be aware of.

First and foremost, Pollama.com Has Recently become affiliated with World of ARDA, the front running forum for the "LOTR" Clans, It is mantained largely by people from ARDA And other major LOTR clans such as ARDA, HoW, TEO, and MMG. Some maps this Community of Map-makers has made and plays are, War of the Jewels, The Second Age, and Ring War.

On the Hosted Project Front we have these new maps entering unto the folds of Pollama.com.

Warcraft Darkness Rising, Made by Panther-Anthro, is a strategy map set during the warcraft:Tides of Darkness Time Period til Lord of the Clans.

Civilization III, is being made by Death-gus and is a strategy game that lets you take your civilization through the ages using a fast and fun tech tree based style of warfare, only the strong will survive in this war game.

Wolf Packs is being made by Darkwulfv, Wolf Packs is a remake of the Classic Wolf Pack games with a intresting and thoroughly unique twist, as well as wonderfully designed hero skills.

But, the Real Topic of the past Few Months, is the Recent Upset by King Leopold's Maps in taking the top spot above Ultimate Footmen, what was once thought to be a near unattainable goal has been reached by Pollama's well respected Map Maker, King Leopold.

Lastly, I would like to draw attention the Pollama Adopt-A-Board, where you can request from Mr.Apples to create a board which you will have moderation over, a wonderful idea and concept allowing for a great amount of diversity in boards and topics for the users of pollama to read and post on.

Maybe it could be like a pollama newspaper, where each of the news people get to make a section of it! For example, i could do a report on the progress and stories of maps in the making! :lol:

sound's like a great idea, and you did a great job doing it. but did ba actually go past ultimate footmen i don't think it did. becaus it would be on top if it did.

ya, it is i guess your right but i don't no why because ultimate footmen has 500 more posts more topics and it's not just broken alliances, its all of king leos maps togethor.
but ba did most of the contributing.

Well my intention was not to really ask for karma, but mainly to fix the damage to my karma, that was done by people while they were mad at me. Also, I felt really bad about what I did to you guys. Although i'm stumped on wether we have enough news for a monthly news letter or only enough for bi monthly.

Well, if i do the part about upcoming maps/clans, i would have enough info for bi-monthly. However, maybe not enough time. OOH! i have an idea! us 3 (panther, luigi, and me!) could go to apples about and we could make our own newspaper! Of course, people (like in real life) would need to pay us for it! :P Maybe like 25-200 credits, depending on what apples decides!

To low, ask for 500 credits per newsletter, they are monthly. I automatically get Senior Editor because A) my idea, B) I"m pretty sure i'm the best writer here, C) I'm good at finding possible stories etc.

doesn't matter to me if your senior editor, sounds like a great idea and it would be pretty fun to make a newsletter per month. also does it have to be just about pollama? or could it be about the whole gaming world in general plus pollama, or maybe just a section on video games outside pollama. or something like that.

We'll have to lay out a format, but we'll have to request a "newsroom" forum from apples that only we and apples can see, for approval on sections.

want me to make a topic, for only me you and panther? called newsletter preperation, where we find story's and all that post them there. let you spell check get some stories on the new maps, and get alot of other things. personally i want to interview you stubby on your new map, also want to know more about panthers, i want to know if you have a planned release date? and if you do when, plus it will be a good way for more people to post in both your topics.

pay us credits lol, add section well i guess maybe it could work. but what would they want to advertise, there map, and maybe instead of giving it out for free, we give the first one out for free and all the others you buy in pollamas, store for credits. and since we gave the first one out for free, then maybe just maybe people will like it and go to buy the 2nd one in the store. plus it would make ccredits more worth while, plus we could also have coupons in the paper, for like buy one karma plus 5 get +1 karma free, lol.

Good idea on the having to buy it luigi, but I believe that we should really more so focus on getting a literally private board from apples. That only us three as i have said before, can see. I can organize the total newsletter etc. But yea.
