lottery on PoLlama?

should PoLlama have a lottery say you buy a lotto ticket for 200 then 12 other people buy the lotto tickets for 200 then you have a 1/13th of a chance to win 2600 at the end of every week you could have a announcement about who won the lotto and then they get the credits.
note i took out the taxes idea so does this sound better to evryone?

Re: lottery on PoLlama?

I think once a week is too often. Maybe like once or twice a month. And I don't think you should have over 200 posts to enter. If they have 200 credit then they are somewhat active already. Fix a few things up then it might be a good idea. But I like how you're thinking to get people more active.

Re: lottery on PoLlama?

would that mean if there's at least 21 people that play, not only would there be a grand prize, everyone would get more back than they payed for?

Re: lottery on PoLlama?

And who would spread it out? If the winner is the one. Then there is more chance that they won't. And if a staff member have to then it's too much trouble for them and this idea doesn't even have a chance to get approved at all. I hate how you made this complicated. Well I hope that you will get the 2000 credits needed. Because that's the only way this will work. But either way I'm not taking part in it.

Re: lottery on PoLlama?

Re: lottery on PoLlama?

This things kind of cool, but I think the whole negative credits thing really turns people off it, I know it did for me. I mean seriously you lose credits for spending credits so maximum loss of 290 and maximum gain of 90 that makes perfect sense. NOT!

Re: lottery on PoLlama?

Well, actually, it would more be a maximum gain of thousands if you win.
