The Navigation bar (On the left, abbreved 'Nav') is obvious a very important part of the site. It helps people get to where they're going, quickly, and easily, at least thats what we want it to do.

Soo, any ideas on how to improve the Navigation Bar, or the left side as a whole, please give them here. Please also address these questions.

I think some things can be taken out. Like near the bottom there is a link to the old download system. Will we should try to get rid of that by forbidding files from being uploaded there. And remove files that are now in the new download center. Also we could remove image because now it just links to the forum index. That was it shortens it up a little and the page is also reduced. It's not a big change. Also for the google search box. I think, if possible, that it replace the forum search on the bottom. Then move the forum search where the google search used to be. That way it would encourage using the forum search and hopefully prevent some copies of topics.

I personally feel that there are too many links on it. I think it would look better if the User was near the top but still under Nav-Pollama. If possible I think that by adding some things to the user and then getting rid of the Nav-My stuff. Pretty much just shortening the Nav so guys new to the forums don't have to scroll all the way down to find their account. Because they never see the links on top.

i don't like that the user box is so close to the bottom of the page, yet it says: "Hey, _______!" Yup, i feel so welcome when i see it, after reading everything ELSE on the page! maybe it could go between the nav-pollama thing and the projects? and shouldn't the projects and clans have their own boxes?
