I always used Recent Topics to find stuff. It makes everything sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier. Now I can't find anything that I want and I'll spend like 30 minutes and then getting to a thread that I was checking to see if anyone had replied to my thing and no one had! WASTED 30 minutes...And don't tell me to check the notify thing because I don't want those emails clogging up my email.

go under the user panel and click show replies.

Yes, but this was removed so you would look around in the forum index. Look at others problems, boards, topics, etc.

I think it's pointless to not have it, just makes stuff more confusing.

It actually made it easier for me. Everything I didn't read in one place. Life can't get easier. Right now it's hard because it was a force of habit looking at it.

Recent topics was never meant as a complete forum navigation, we just want to see how people work with the real forum's navigation.

Also I like using resent topic and unread topic because it tells you what forum they are in. With the recent topic box. It didn't say so I would go to a topic with a cool title only to find that it's a map I had no interest in.
