1. Ultimate footmen is a very interesting game that i play alot. OK, we start wtih hero taverns and heroes you can pick. Hmmmm... You've heard Loki is uber pick him? NO NO NO! NEVER pick Loki thats when people will call you a noob (and if you do bad with him, they call you uber-noob). The best thing to do hero-wise is to random. You save 200 gold, and can sell your boots for another 250, and you get an amulet of power(which really helps the intelligence heros)! Also, one last thing, NEVER tech heros own in this game and you have to use them to win.

2.Never pick these heroes:
-Archmage
-PoisonLord (he is cheap people will call you a noob)
-loki
-Elemental sage
These are the heros that i think its relly hard to win a game with, or they're too cheap.

3.HOW TO OWN

To own in this game there are a few items you need and a few strategies you must know. First of all, with any hero, it helps SOO much to get a fireball staff. After you get get that, you HAVE to get a troll warlord (anti-magic shield) it helps against the int heros spells. Also, tech as soon as possible i reccomend teching to human or undead, both going to tier B of them.

Sage is useless when everyone has AMS.
Archmage is just...idk easy kill.

Never tech?
Are you so sure about that?
Sure its a buggy tactic but it still works.
Have 1 person wait it out.
Then tech while his 2 teammates pool him.

But most games are AR
So it stops pickers, and techers.

You truely are retarded..if no1 ever techd then the games would never end. If you dont tech then ur base is a weak 20k hlth. I know that if i techd gargs, i could easily pwn ur whole entire base, including ANY hero at lvl40. Heros are not what win the game unless you are able to get to lvl19 befire anyone else techs and or gets to lvl11. Your whole strategy is flawd for that one sole reason, and i would love to 1v1 u when u use this strategy so i can show u that true skill can not be taught.

Pick Sniper.
Get frozen arrows first
Save up for fire bolt
tech undead
get the armor and attack and unholy frenzy up 3
go circle a hero with ur ghouls or undead units
bring sniper in
attack him once or twice
firebolt with ur spell
firbolt with ur item
continue process
upgrade to frost dragons
win

Here's my guide to Ultimate Footmen for the noobs.

NOTE: This is a guide that I made up really fast should not be read because it will be long and will be useless if you know all of this. Impa made a horrible guide and I'm trying to show how a guide should at least be.

The genre of Ultimate Footmen is Footmen Wars. Ultimate Footmen is like any other footmen wars but it has more heros and by over powering everything they ended up balancing it.(Well close enough at the moment) Footmen wars are usually in 3v3v3v3. The colors red, blue, and teal are team 1. The colors yellow, orange, and purple are team 2. The colors gray, pink, and green are team 3. And finally the colors dark green, light blue, and brown are team 3. The point of the game is to 'buy' a hero and level him up while you upgrade your men and base to destoy the other team's bases. The two most popular maps of footmen wars are footmen frenzy and Ultiamte footmen.(Still say that Ultimate footmen is better but it's your pick) You start the game when the red player gets to chose if the game will be AP=All Random or AR=All Random.(This is only in Ultimate Footmen as of what I know. Most maps are AP and to make a AR version they have to make a whole new map without AP) Ultimate footmen has more [good] custom heros then most other footmen maps. Most footmen maps you find will be AR due to people getting heros like Loki or Beastmaster. Ultimate Footmen is a little different then other footmen wars map because it is faster and you need to think a little to make the game even. Some heros are easier to use then others. Take the beastmaster. His summons makes it really easy for him to level up and one of the reason why people call it unfair and rig BUT if you get orb of lightning or armads before he gets to a really high level then his summons will be killed easily by your hero. There are three main ways that I know how to play. The first one is to make your hero really strong.(This is good because after you level your hero up and get enough money you can upgrade your units and base later) The second is to get strong units.(This one is good because having strong units levels your hero up) The thrid one is to do both.(This one is good becaues your hero is strong and your units are strong also) All of them has its up's and down's but really good players can make one of the three work and win the game. These are not the only ways of playing. This is how I see a lot of players play. The bases have really high HP and you will need to upgrade you men because unupgraded men will take too long to destoy a base and will most likey killed before doing anything truely harmful. Having a really strong hero will also not win a game unless you and everyone else has a lot of time on their hands. Having upgraded men or higher tiers(A.K.A. your base) who makes better men will be the best to destoy a base because they spawn endlessly and if upgraded and in a high enough tier you will be able to destoy a base who is weaker then you. The heros are more of a unit who can turn the whole battle around. But heros are not everything so don't get confused by that. Yes they are more importain then units but still units are pretty imporatant near the beginning and near the end. Many people talks about this game being more of a heros battle with is kind of true but later in the game they get better. Having a strong hero makes people want to leave so some games never gets near the end and you don't get to go to the part where units are important so that's also one of the reasons why people thing units are completly useless. They are pretty useless during the middle of the game.(Unless you play in a way that does make them very useful) Firebolt staff is useful but only in 'hero kill' up against a army it's useless because you can't stun all of them because of the cooldown. Forest troll priest is very usefull in the game because in almost every game, even random, there will be at least 1 hero killer. The anti-magic-shell protects you from some spells but not from others like some Ultimates, or a hero's strongest move. Some ultimates gets blocked from anti-magic shell so it's good to have on. Remember that it is only temperary and you will need the troll priest to give you another anti-magic-shell when it runs out. It can be disspelled by items or spells that disspells so watch out if a hero has a disspell item or disspell spell.

That was a true noob guide. Well it was more like information for a noob but still. I didn't spend a lot of time on it because I didn't plan to make one at all. All guides should at least be this good or better.(which isn't very hard to do because mine isn't very good)

Like I said. All guides should at least be this level or better. Mostly better(like I also said before it isn't that hard because it was crap). If I was really going to do a guide then I would have cut it down and made many sections with it. Ultimate Footmen needs more then 1 guide to show how good it is. If I really wanted to make a guide I would have gave them information on footmen frenzy first because how I see it Ultimate Footmen is not any different from the game play but because of the things that are in Ultimate Footmen it makes Ultimate Footmen so much better. Still I say that mine was better because all imapb did was tell everyone what to do. I went in more indeap in mine. Of course mine was crap because I thought if I put everything I wanted to say then it would be way too long.

Well I'm good at making stories up not really much of a strategy person. I try to use them but no good ones comes out of me. Most strategies I use are ones that pros made up.

-Of course I would PM MrApples first before putting the guide up. I don't want to post a horrible guide or something like that.

The best noob guide there is. Is to get a hero and pwn the other teams. Short and simple.

Good job spelling..but your grammar is still off. According to you, the way to win is to get others approval? That was a HORRIBLE guide. Archmage is one of the most useful heroes in the game. Teching is the only thing that saves your base from being destroyed in 2 seconds later on in the game, plus it provides strong units to defend your base when your hero is dead, or they do indeed provide a powerful piledrive-type offense.
