allright, ive been playin a lil while now. but i still have no idea wtf the crystal shard and the ruins of higlar are for. im guessin higlar is just for decoration and ive found that killing the dragon is useless except for 10 gold. plz enlighten me.

i believe there is an item to take to hilgar to get the base, and i think the shards make an orb. (not sure)

Yeah, i'm pretty sure the crystal shards scattered about the map make a crystal ball, which can reveal areas of the map (Pretty useful unless you have Lb's hero). \

And then the Hilgar town is a mini-quest you can do. The hero right above Hellmouth, can't remember his name but he's a death knight, he drops a Key to the Hall of Hilgar. I've been really close to completing this but i usually d/c by the time i remember to do it. But since the dragon is ueber and the Death Knight is a self healing jerk, i'd imagine it's not half bad.

The death knight drops a key which when you kill the dragon at the hall and you go up to the hall, you get a horn. It's like a roar basically, except only 5 charges, but its more powerful then any roar that units have.

wow, that's pretty cheap. You'd think it would be something good, like a devotion aura that stacks with other auras and stuff!

Rymos

The only things I bother with are the mines and the shredders, the creeps on the island if I have the lich or leopold, thats about it. The others waste valuable base killing time.

i cant remember what the shards do. its been so long but you take the key to the castle with the dragon, take the ring to the chick lookin for her man, we all know shredders lol and the bag of fuses to the bomb guy right of lake. ummm i cant remember what else there is. ive not played in so long.

jsut pointing out that the horn of hilgar give 50-75% att up when roar gives like 15-20%
so horn is worth getting if its a close game
