I was thinking about a couple things. Seems some people are quite impatient with the draft matches, etc. I was thinking we could pretty much run two sets of matches at once. How?

Well. Clans. We can still do clan matches. However, right now, there is an insane imbalance of power. So I was thinking that we should be responsible for the restructuring and making of 4 clans. The best format for matches has been 3v3v3v3's, afterall. So we need 4, moderately balanced clans to do this.

The clan match seasons can go for about 20 games, and be run at any time. The Draft matches will only happen when captains are on, and will always be rotating and changing people. Clan matches could be the more steady, more experimental, the more attempts with random players, etc.

Of course, KLA is going nowhere. MOW and TESA are likely to be the second and third clans. But a fourth, powerful clan needs to be made. (Sorry, but DiF isn't powerful, and honestly, who would want to join it and be led by someone that inexperienced and confrontational?)

So, someone, even if it has to be me again, just to help balance the power, needs to make this 4th clan.

Once this is done, I think we need to find a way to balance all the pros, so these matches are also effectively good matches, and not one sided all the time.. In order for this to work, SOME people are going to have to be willing to switch clans, etc. I know some people really won't be likely to leave, so I figured I would draw up a rough draft of what I have proposed, and see what you guys think.

If you ask me this is relatively balanced, with SOS having a slight disadvantage at the moment, and MOW/KLA being a bit powerful... Of course, there will always be more than this.. but these are pretty much core, active, good, players that are listed. What do you guys think?

Also the difference between a clan and draft match... The draft matches would have more rules, etc to make it more competitive and strict.

The clan matches would be allowed to play anyone, anytime from your clan, as long as there is a shaman present. Maybe alot less rules about cooperation, etc.

I think we can all agree that the most important aspect of a clan is, of course, its name. In this respect, all of the clans that were mentioned completely fail, especially TeSA. :P

I propose someone should make a clan with that very name because the epic that is surging through those letters is just ****ing... flabbergasting.

honestly all players will come back to kla eventually and then want shaman and leave and try to make new clans.
also does this mean kla is losing snow shadez and lto.

Im just throwing ideas out there. I always do what I do because no one else will. I wanna stay KLA, but I think I am the only one who would go establish another clan.

I don't know who would or would not join mine. Its just an idea.

I just think we are bordering on good competition, but there is a problem with the clan matches and the draft matches right now.

The Draft matches are never happening because there are never four captains on.

The Clan matches are never balanced, because there is always a 4th ****ty clan, there just to hold a place, and 4v4v4's suck!




I was also planning on trying something else as far as keeping stats goes.

Individual stats. Keeping track of who plays in every clan match, and their individual records throughout. Which would include the Clan AND draft matches.

This could also spur pro FFA and 2v2v2v2v2v2 leagues/matches/tournaments and better determine pros/rankings, etc.

Anyone think that would be a good idea?

I'm not trying to start an argument, only to note that DiF has not partifcipated in a single clan match with any clan. So come on, don't you think that's a bit unfair, until you see how we do in at least a few? And please, I'm not THAT confrontational that it would prevent people from joining :-P.
Oh, and one last thing. All active members took part in a vote last night, and as of right now, DiF stays together.

lol furies goin back? Didnt you tell us that we can play with 3 clans and that dif will pursue a more or less isolationist approach?

DiF played in almost every season 2 match with 0 wins

i'd swallow my pride and be an alternate for somebody in a clan/draft match

which gives me an idea!

there are those teams, then a reservoir of alternates to fill in open spots!
