[Movie] The Dark Knight

With just one year passed after taking out Ra's Al Ghul's plan to have Gotham eliminated and the mysterious disappearance of Dr. Jonathan Crane AKA the Scarecrow, after the city was nearly plundered with his toxins, Bruce Wayne and his vigilante alter-ego the Batman, continue the seemingly-endless effort to bring order to Gotham, with the help of Lt. James Gordon and newly appointed District Attorney Harvey Dent, but a new threat has now emerged into the streets. The Dark Knight faces a rising psychopathic criminal called The Joker, who's eerie grin, laughter, and inhuman morality makes him more dangerous than what he has yet to unleash. It becomes an agenda to the Batman to stop the mysterious Joker at all cost, knowing that the both of them are in the opposite line. One with no method at all and seeks to see the world plunge into the fire he has yet to lit. One who represents the symbol of hope and uses his own shadow to bring the peace and order he has yet to accomplish on doing.

Oh my god, I was so upset that MAGGIE (EW) was Racheal Dawes. Excuse me, can you get anyone uglier, k, thanks.

Also, PG-13 Means Pg13, not 'take your 5 year old to this movie', so what if its a super hero movie, YOU HAVE AN INSANE PYSCHO CALLED THE JOKER, YES ITS GOING TO BE VIOLENT.

I like the fact that it was a PG-13 movie. Can you imagine how much stuff would have been cut out if it was just rated PG? They would also need to remove that second villain. Not sure if it's a spoiler or not so I won't say who it is.

I didn't see the trailer for The Dark Knight. My sister just came out of the blue and said, "Hey you want to see The Dark Knight?"

Yeah, so do I, but have you read about the people calling it 'Too Dark'? Oh, come on, its PG 13. YES ITS GOING TO BE DARK. DARK KNIGHT. But no, people have to bring their bratty 5 year olds there, and they cry and cry and you feel like taking a gun and shooting that thing. GOD. At least, this time, I didn't have to put up with that crap. Remember Pirates of the Carribean 3. Of course, I could handle that sort of thing at 8, but you have parents whining "Oh no, my son is going to go insane for watching that!". Wtf.

If this movie was PG, I would totally agree with those parents that this movie is "too dark" but it's PG-13.

I saw the headline on Yahoo but I didn't read it. What I assumed was that the parents were saying it's too dark for 13+ year old's. Then the word "Over-protective" came to mind.

People thought he was at first, then he helped and they liked him, then when joker came out they hated him because Joker was killing people until he took off his mask.

nyhow I suggest theatres instead. I watched Iron man on the computer, and meh, would've rather watched in theatres (stupid friends didn't want to go)

I saw the Dark Knight last week. In my opinion, the movie was more about the Joker guy than really batman. Some say it was because it was Keith (or Heith?) Ledger's last movie, who died while it was being filmed. It was ok in my opinion.

I'm torrenting it because I burn it to a DVD, and my dad wants to see it, and also, one of my friends just does NOT go the cinema, and my other friend that I talk to with no reason, well, I don't think he'd wanna go. He watches too much anime. And he tries to do over 9000 things at once. He's trying to make an AMV for Youtube, and he's trying to make a Warcraft 3 map, and he's trying to watch like 4 anime series at once, and he's trying to write a book. It's all failing.

i kinda saw it
i was there......when it was already playing
it was where.....uhh...batman and the ships...i think
or...when batman reveals his true idenity?
most of the time or most of the part i saw was kinda boring
and Two Face's face or the mayor..i forgot his name
his face was like...weird looking....lol.....i didnt think the insides would look like that
and...thats odd....like...how batman wasnt a hero and he was a villian? or not..?
if he wasnt a villian or hero then why would they chase him?

To answer the last question, Harvey Dent was Gothan's "White Knight" and he was a sign of hope. After he became Two-Face and killed people. It would cause a lot of trouble in the city and would undo everything that Harvey Dent did. After Harvey Dent was died, Batman took the fall to prevent the undoing of everything Harvey Dent did.
