You do know that that game is based on the anime, DragonBall Z. Which was based on the manga DragonBall. And in DragonBall, that line was said before any of us was even born. And if you were born, you were in diapers.

Dragonball was an anime too. I watched it.

And, it doesn't matter. It has been renewed, by the game.

And that line was NOT said in Dragonball. Vegeta was never in Dragonball.

The Manga series Dragonball makes up DragonBall and DragonBall Z so it's a matter of do you follow the manga or the anime. Which is why I can say Vegeta was in DragonBall because I follow the manga and not the anime while you can say he isn't in DragonBall because you follow the anime.

Think of Marval's The Incredible Hulk. The line, "Hulk Smash" has to be like 50 years old. But because Hulk said that line in his new moive still doesn't change the fact that that line is over 50 years old.
