"Koran forbidden??" In the netherlands there's a guy named Geert Wilders. He's a politician. And he's very anti-immigrant. The point is, he's quite an idiot . Some weeks ago he made an idiotic statement. ( *Update he made another )

He wants to make it illegal to sell the Koran (or Qur’an). Yes, he really said he wants to outlaw this holy book. He called the Koran “The Islamic Mein Kampf.” ( read more about Mein Kampf :Mein Kampf - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) Not only does he want to make it illegal to sell the Koran, he also wants to punish those who read it in private and who use it in mosques.

Geert Wilders's suggestion to forbid the koran was thrown away as the stupid idea it is. But some days ago he made another statement. He now wants to create a new koran, one in which all "fascistic" ideas and hatebearing things are deleted. Then he mentions it's not such a good idea though because if you would do that, the only thing you would have left is a book as big as the Donald Duck. It is ironic that the party he created, on who people can vote on, is called the PVV - Partij voor de vrijheid, that's party of freedom ( liberty ) in english. Even worse is that this man got himself 9 seats. Because in my opinion he deserves none. Also the name of his campaign as you could call it is: The Koran causes hate, not me.
