units in the beggining

we all know there are those issues (such as dk's converting units) in the beggining of the game which tends to make it kinda unbalanced and we all wait till about a full group of units before we go out to the center which tends to slow the start down. it was during one of these dead times that i thought of something that struck me as ingenious (ill leave you to decide whether or not it really is)

i think that when you start the game you have 9 units so that you dont have to wait long before you and others can mass middle. that way it will stop people from using convert or killing their units and summoning skeles because they will miss a bunch of gold if they do. it would also get the game moving a lot faster

DKs conversion spell cooldown could be increased..
Starting with preset units at your base is not exactly a good idea. When you start the game, there is time needed for certain things, such as middle message, and preloading units. Starting the mass more soon will just cause problems bcuz ppl cant exactly see around the messages.

well then maybe start with less. idk i just don't like the sitting around at the beggining while someone out there might be doing somehting. and i think that dk's cooldown is just fine it's just he has all the TIME that allows him to make lots of them.

Its stupid, not going to be added. There is no point in starting with X amount of units at begining. If you want to start the freaking game earlier, rush som1s base with ur hero alone, ur bound to kill at least one thing if ur decent enough. Then ppl flood to the action your causing, not wantingto get behind in levels. ITS ON A PSYCHOLOGICAL STANDPOINT BY NOW. Outsmart ur opponents by sending them in blindfolded, with their eyes open.

i dont get why you think its pointless. the only real thing im sugesting would be to get the game rolling a little faster. sure you could go into another base and kill a few units if your good but whats the point? gaining 50 gold and maybe wasting a tp? not worth it. this way everyone not only decent players would be able to get gold a little faster. i see your point on the psychological part but seriously, you would haveto be against noobs for them to die and if they dont they do damage to you and your units so...

I think it's fine as it is. But something should be added to make the game going in the beginning. I see people who have 20 units in the beginning but no one is going to the center to have the big battle in.

maybe if you allowed the person with the most units in the center to gain 2 gold per second until about 5 minutes into the game.
