[ITEM] Passive Orb

I don't know where I came up w/ this, but w/e

This orb basically gives all the passive skills in an item.
I was thinking about 7k-8k

It gives:
lvl 1 critical strike
lvl 1 bash
lvl 1 cleaving attack
lvl 1 evasion
lvl 1 spiked carapace
5 charges of reincarnation

The main reason you'd get this would be for the reincarnation. The bash would be good for heros like the assassin that attack insanely fast. Critical strike is great for plenty of heros. The evasion and spiked carapace are nice for staying alive.

Not exactly custom, but I think it would make a good addition to the game.

Sorry bout the other post. Forgot about polls XD

Re: [ITEM] Passive Orb

indeed i agree with mr. zero maybe if it had a chance thing and/or cooldown on it like:

lvl 2 critical strike (3 sec cd)
lvl 2 bash (6 sec cd)
30% chance of attack having a lvl 2 cleaving attack
lvl 2 evasion (1 second cd)
50% chance to cast a lvl 2 spiked carapace every 10 sec
20% chance of casting a lvl 2 reincarnation on death

Its not a bad idea actually. But like the other two said, it would be pretty rigged.

Re: [ITEM] Passive Orb

I like the idea, maybe cost a little more. It is highly rigged. I think it should be like Fire Emblem, only lasting for about 20 seconds (except for reincarnation) and would have a cooldown.

Re: [ITEM] Passive Orb

Alright Alright I'll tell you.
1.This orb gives 6 passives. 6 passives = more than total amount of spells a hero has.
2.The passives if it is like you put it, are too strong. Assuming a tank hero bought this, not even 50 gargs will stop him. (Especially Pulverizer)
3.Do they stack? I hope not.
4.I think 8k is not enough. Should be more than an excalibur. Maybe 15k.
Main reason I think it is rigged is my first one.

Re: [ITEM] Passive Orb

Well for the overpowered-ness, think about it.

lvl 2 crit strike is 20% to do 3x
lvl 2 bash is 23%
lvl 2 cleaving is 45% or something
lvl 2 evasion is 25%
lvl 2 spiked carapace is 10 armor and 25% return
lvl 2 reincarnation is every 200 sec.

For a pulverizer, cleaving, evasion, carapace, and reincarnation are applicable.
Maybe we could say that the reincarnation doesn't stack. i.e. if a hero already has reincarnation, you won't reincarnate 2x.
So, you're saying that less then 1/2 cleaving, 1/4 evasion, 10 armor, 1/4 dmg return is overpowered? Because I seriously don't think that it is. In multiple items, you can get most of those bonuses for probably less then 5/6k or something. Orb of fire (1.5k), talisman of evasion (i forget), a few boots of agility (1.5k would make 12 armor), and the damage return can't be bought, but it's really not worth that much. It's basically reverse vamp aura (1.5k) That adds up to about 4.5k w/o the talisman of evasion.

If it can do all of that with that low of a cost then it really would end that game. And it would just be a race on who can get it first.

6 passives is overpowered? You could buy a lot of passives for less. You could buy 6 auras. You can buy an ankh of reincarnation for 900$. Here, I'll make the reincarnation charged (i.e. you only get a certain number of reincarnations) How will 50 gargs not stop him? 50 gargs can stop anything btw. If your refering to the evasion factor, I think that the talisman of evasion is less then 1k. If you're refering to the reincarnation, you still have the ankh of reincarnation for 900. It DEFINATELY does not stack. What do you think I am?!?!
I really don't see how it's overpowered.

Re: [ITEM] Passive Orb

Yeah but buying 6 passeve items limits you on what you can have but getting this item would mean you could have the total of 11 abilities because one has 6 and 5 more from the items you can get. Or at least that's how I see it.

Re: [ITEM] Passive Orb

No, 50 gargs will not stop anything with this item.
Im mainly thinking Pulverizer.
1)Evasion
2)Cleave
3)Spiked Carapace(return damage)
4)Reincarnation
5)Critical Strike

Pulverizer at level 35+ will kill 50 gargs so easily with this item. Since he has immolation and his pulverize. Now add this cleave and return damage and evasion. And I think when you crit with a cleaving attack it crits to all the targets. Not sure if the bash cleaves to all targets I don't think so. Does reincarnation stack? Btw, pulverizer's pulverize is 40% chance to do 400 dmg to all units in a cleave I think. A gargoyle has 2400 hp. 4 pulverizes + immolation will do the job. I have a replay of my pulverizer killing gargoyles pretty easily. It wasn't 50 gargs though. I bet the replay doesn't work anyway.

Well now if its level one for all those passives I think its fine.

Re: [ITEM] Passive Orb

Ok first of all level 1 is fine.
Thats good.

Btw the pulverize isn't a cleaving attack. It's like pulverize for tauren- crit doesn't affect it.
Return damage is 25% at lvl 2, and 15% at level 1- pretty negligible.
Reincarnation is charged- doesn't stack.
And gargs don't have only 2400 hp. In most games i get gargs w/ nearly 3k hp.

hmm its a maybe good idea, but the whole reincarnation thing would be pretty bad. im thinking that maybe if you click it, it would give you a different passive skill.

What if you made custom passive spells for your passive orb.
It would be more balanced.
