![]() | Some New Modes Me(dkc-gears) and Nos been talking and i came up with some ideas. Basically i had an idea that when u start the game, the host picks the a mode, like in Dota. Here are some: Ally mode- you ally ppl FFA mode- free for all Country Start mode- everyone starts with one country Battle Mode-you get a set amount of gold, and just fight other ppl with armies. Wtf Mode- you start with 200 gold Land Spilt Mode- a screen comes up, and u pick the countries you want. If some1 else wants it, you fight them for it. Good Mode- Only the lands of Good can be taken Evil Mode- Only the lands of Evil can be taken Good vs. Evil Mode- players pick whether they are good or bad, and then are allied to their teams. Then the good areas are broken up for the good players, and the evil places are given to the evil players. Thats all i got for now, post here if you got anymore. |

![]() | Re: Some New Modes there rly just ideas, but i would think that the good areas wouldnt be able to be taken. Like they will have inveruable units on them, and the evil areas will be normal. But for this to work , i think we will need new areas for evil and good. |

Everyone gets a # of wisps based on how many people play, at dead center of map. Then everyone races to get thier wisps to the areas they want. Maybe they could have a blink. Give a man a fire, and you warm him for a day. Set a man afire and you warm him for the rest of his life. |

And will it be an activated mode in the normal mode or a standalone with good and evil selected before the game begins? Have something like every country gets a circle of power and when a player moves his wisp to the circle, the trigger for that country is disabled and that player gets the country. This will show the really strategic power of players, because they will have to relay on other people to win. |

![]() | Re: Some New Modes Personally i think the only good modes would be ally/ffa, all the others are pointless... good vs evil = units arent balance, i mean cmon balrogs and mumakil vs ??? wtf is just dumb, you would still have to take land and it would turn out like any other game of risk, oh and this isnt dota ![]() country start = countries arent balanced, some give more income and others just have better units... good mode - not enough land for 12 people, same for evil mode battle mode-would have to be a separate map(could be a good map, just remove the land, choose good or evil and you will get a castle that builds those units, would have to rework &!%$ on it though) land split-seems just like country start except you pick the land, and oh wait you fight more just like every other game!!! YAY!! SOOO i think only 2 modes should be ffa or ally IDEA: maybe you could add a hero mode, you get a tavern at the start and can pick ONE hero but if they die you lose them for the rest of the game(also the heroes wouldnt be rigged as that would basically ruin the purpose, maybe they would just have auras to help the units you have, like if you pick a melee hero, you get vamp aura devotion aura etc. and for a ranged you would get trueshot aura etc) |

I think his ideas are going to fit what you guys want, I just have no way of explaining it to you as of now. I will try and work as fast I can so I can give it off to nos, then we can start beta testing for the official release.
