I am making a map called Dwarves vs. Goblins. My general story is that after a really long time, the goblins were being pushed out of the human and elven lands to the south. They got to the dwarven lands, and decided to settle. They found abandoned mines and caves to make their evil dens. The Dwarves had no idea that they had come. But, one day, a scouting party of about 10 dwarves, led by Sir Wugglez, was ambushed by two scores of Goblin warriors! Wugglez and 3 survivors made it to King Stubby's hall. They warned him of the invasion before the Goblins had actually attacked a village. He gathered his most trusted leaders to stop the threat. Wugglez was now named Wugglez the people's hero, as he and his scouts saved the people. Now it is time for the Dwarves and Goblins to fight!

Well, now it's time to say what you DO in this map. It is a map like 12 kingdoms or ring wars where your units are spawned at set bases. There are neutral bases that either side can take over, several fortified positions, and all the fortresses are well-fortified, of course. The terrain has a lot of features, such as big mountain ranges, forests, and even a desert!

I will probably have a Dwarves vs. Goblins project forum soon, and keep looking at this post to see if there are any updates on the map!

personally, i think u should do wut leopold did: make a contest when the first vers comes out. let them create cool hero names and such...


in ur map, there has to be a DarkRanger?

1 last thing, i just thought of a good gobbo name: Crunk the Knee-Biter

(dark, there will probably be a hero named after you, but it won't be dark. he will be Kelv Steelshot the Dwarven Ranger.)

i like the Crunk knee-biter idea! i had an idea almost like that before, i think it was Gurk Shinkicker but i like Crunk, as it has a goblinny feel to it,

well, nos-feratu.'s working on the map for now, as he's adding the goblin terrain. I can get you some pretty good Screenshots of dwarven terrain, though!

@ darkranger: the problem is I can't update it when I have no idea with nos-feratu. making the goblin terrain until i see it, i'll update it when i get the map back.
