![]() | BA/LK/12K's Appearance. King, we've already talked about this but with a different tune ![]() Anyway, I believe you need to work on the appearance of your maps. They some how just seem nubbish, when their not. It might be something as simple as the lack of color codes, or something more? |

I have an idea to make your terrain look professional! doodads other than trees, walls, and fences! add some real environment or it looks like all you did was adjust cliffs, make water, and slap down some trees. ![]() And now, directly from chip's signature... ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: BA/LK/12K's Appearance. Eh to be completely honest, I simply don't have the time to do every little detail. I prefer to focus on big things, and I doubt anyone has ever played or not played one of my maps because everything wasn't the prettiest. Regarding doodads, terraining an epic sized map like Broken Alliances take a while and it also takes up a hell of alot of doodads just to do basic terrain outlines. Once trees, pathing blockers, and base outlines are done, there's simply not that many doodads left that I can use and stay under the doodad cap. |

![]() | Re: BA/LK/12K's Appearance. yeah because u could have the best map possible but if it doesnt have decent gameplay it is a peice of **** so really u just need a balance with good gameplay and terrain and king has come pretty close to that balance also king leopold is more concerned with people being able to play and enjoy his games thats why he is a roc mapmaker so that every1 can enjoy it |
