I know i wrote alot, but i found this stuff really helpful in wins. Some scraped me wins in less than 30 minutes

My strategy usually involves golems, a troll priest that follows my hero around ( I do random, so it depends on hero) I usually try to tech at the base, and I do undead, Skeleton mages are amazing, tech them just a bit, and do unholy frenzy and you own. tech them up to 10 on all stats and you got yourself a game (unless someone got stronger upgrades). I discovered towering around a solo base i am attacking is helpful, as well as using the dagger of escape and potion of omninicence to get behind people and harass them and build with the buider towers behind bases really helpful (that really annoys peope, and they usually leave). Golems are exellent support for all heros (use the rock golems, they got immunity and can stun heros) I usually get around 5 or 6. however, if a player has the hero with charm, avoid golems at all, because charm will take your golems away, even with their magic immunity. Same goes for granite golem., however with troll priest you can cast a shield around a granite golem, but not the cheap rock ones because of their immunity. Try to keep you golems close together, and bring the priest along (no one will snipe him because they will try to run from the golems). Avoid demonic unless you got a hero like the beastmaster and you got money coming in like water. Demonic is expencive to upgrade and tech, and willl cost you the game unless you have the ability to make ALOT of money. Undead is your best bet, through human spell breakers are good too (magic immunity, that owns)

If you are doing ap, pick the dark ranger (she can charm away enemy units, powerful summons, and creeps). Her dark arrow, once lelveld up some can be devastating. If its ar, then pick her as your second hero ASAP (unless everyone is like lvl 15 or higher). If you already have her, pick a good support hero (priest for heal or crown of kings. he is especially good for tanks), or if you plan to use your units more, pick a hero with aura (paladin can resurrect and has aura taht gives bonus armor, and is a good save, since you wont have to upgrade armor on your units). For second heros, avoid summoning type or melee or tank like, because your original hero and other heros are stronger and will own the summons/ hero. I found all those strategies useful b/c ppl are used to the old buy stuff and tech fast strategy and they never see towering, golems or attacking from behind their base coming. ( or second heros) i hope this helps

You're right! Dark arrows do kill! Haven't tried the part with the beastmaster and demons, but i'm gonna try it out.
