You just started not to long ago right?
Do you use GIMP or Photoshop?
I like most of your work but some look a little rough

I started about a few months after the beginning of the year.
I use GIMP because it's free.
The reason for that is because I'm trying new things. Like now I use the magic wand and abstract brushes to make my backgrounds.

Unfortunately I am. Doesn't really matter that much because I have enough with GIMP. You're talking to a guy who tried to make user bars with MS paint. Think how bad those were.

Anyone who buys photoshop are rich.
They're a good $500 if not more.
I would rather spend that $500 getting a tablet.
(if you don't know what that is. Then they are
those mats you put near your computer and then
use a special pen and then it's like your mouse)

If you don't mind I really just want this to be able graphics and not about piracy.

I'm still getting used to the color balance tool. And felt a bit sick yesterday. I was planing on redoing that one anyway. Good thing I also saved it as .xcf.

Also I added a few more. I tried animation this time. Didn't go so well. I also hate .gif. Makes the image look pixel-ly.
I think that the Ultimate Footmen one went a little better on color. Could be better.

Signature blocks are much harder then user bars in my opinion.
In user bars, the background didn't have to be special but in signature blocks they do.
Still getting used to it.

oooh! you were able to do animations? also, i like the footman guy's text. i think that the footman render is cool, but the background is just weird. maybe you got it from the same image that state-property used for his signature?

I learned a lot about GIMP and how it can do. But now comes the longest part. The part where I have to gain experience, by practicing. So matching backgrounds is one of the things that will come in time.

Also I redid the Halo sign. Only the background got recolored.

hmmmm.... well, you might be able to use http://www.councilofelrond.com/modul...a_gimli013.jpg or http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...i_With_Axe.jpg for gimli, and if you use the second one... try http://www.tuckborough.net/images/helmsdeep-siege.jpg as a background, with maybe gimli on one side and text in the other, with the text being the same font as you used on your ultimate footman or kingstubby userblock!

They are all quite nicely done , But i think they need a bit more brightness for the most part... mroe origanality..

Most of my images are made to be more darker because I always make them to keep in mind that it would be used on a forum with more lighter theme. And I'm not really one for originality. I'm one to get a method I like and try to add some of my own favor into it.

The guy who writes the Naruto manga said that his art uses nearly the same type of art style as the guy who drew DragonBall Z because of his inability to make a better drawing method. That's pretty much me with graphics. Maybe someday I'll try to get more original. But with my current level of skill. It won't be good. I'm trying to learn programing/cooking/baking/and graphics. Not to mention balancing school with it. So you have to bare with me for my lack of skill.
