Well I tried to make a new loading screen and it came out pretty well. Could be better but with my talents this is good. So tell me what you think. And keep in mind I'm not very (or at all) talented in this area. I just do it because it's fun.

I still can't get good backgrounds. And I'm having hard times finding tutorials for it. The background is the render with a bunch of filters on it. But I don't know which ones does what so it's completely randomness.

gasp! randomosity at it's finest, then! i like how you used the wave tool. If you want to make it a swirly whirly background, you could make it ripple, twist and pinch, (i THINK that's what it's called!) and add a "wind" effect. I used that combination once, and it looks good, especially if you love randomnessosity, have low wind settings, and don't whirly and pinch too much! I hope that helped!

not bad. for backgrounds (if you use photoshop like me) i love to use this: paint the background black. go to filters and render then use cloud. go down to stylize and select find edges. then go to image, adjustments, and invert it. and wualla! wierdness...

If you look carefully you can see Illidan and Arthas which represents the fight they had at the frozen throne before Arthas became the Lich King. Also the background was made from the render so it matches with the colors. This one was actually made for me to use for a map I would make.
