[Tutorial] Quickmask

This short tutorial well tell you something I call a very useful thing to know. The Quick mask. See I could spend like 5 minutes typing why it's good to know how to use the quckmask but knowing most of you are teenagers and hate to read. I'll just show you.

First find and image then click the quckmask button. It's hard to see but it's on the place where it looks like a pop-up info box is near the lower left.

Now make sure that you are using the color white and black. Then make sure that white is your forward color and that black is your backward color. Now after you turn the quick mask on you will see that your image turned completely red. Now use your pencil tool and you'll see that when you color with white. Then the red disappears and turns it normal color. Now make the parts you want in red and the parts you want gone it's normal color. If you make a mistake then change your color and use black to fix it. It will turn red again.

Now click the quickmask again and now you will see that parts of your image is selected. Now press ctrl+k or edit -> clear. Now you will see that all that parts you wanted gone is now gone.

Re: [Tutorial] Quickmask

It's really simple and basic but most people don't know about it so they have to use free-crop which is much harder to me.
