This is my first signature block that I think is somewhat good. As you can see I'm still having trouble coloring the font to a good color. But I think it's somewhat good because it looks like a crystal.

Are you using photoshop? If yes, I'm sure if you look around, you'd get a much better signature. If no, it's understandable.

I use GIMP. And this is my second signature that isn't a userbar. And I don't look for signatures that other people makes. I make my own.

I meant by looking around for tutorials.

I really don't want to criticize it, but I'll do it anyways. Btw, I use photoshop.

-Your render is faded. It should stand out more.
-Your text can be smaller and better colored. It stands out too much.
-Your background is a little plain. (can you download brushes for gimp?)
-I'd say make a lighter sig to contrast with the background on these forums.

It's really easy to tell that you're not learning anything new for awhile now. It's so simple because this is what I call the experimental stage. It's the stage where I try a bunch of stuff until I understand and can make them fit together. So I'm sorry that I'm not some genius that can learn everything the first time. And this was made for lighter forums. You know most forums I go to has light background. You should learn how to respect people's abilities more.

Actually it's more of a I'm a new guy at this thing. I'm just really pissed off right now because my older brother touched my computer yesterday and now it takes like 10 times the normal speed to do something. And it lags like hell. He comes in and thinks he so strong and yells at me for being weak. Yeah well maybe it's because my parents gives him 50 dollars a week and I get nothing and he has a bunch of weights at my home that he locks up. So not only does my school not have weights that I can train with. But he locks the weights at home. And I can't affored to go to a gym. And I'm not weak. He's just really strong. He always makes varsity teams and lifts what people his age only does 3/4 of what he does. Even less. And he keeps saying how WarCraft is his and he'll take it away if I'm not his slave. Funny thing is I paid for it with my own money. He's a pain to have as a brother. And because he's the favorite he gets away with everything. Still got the scars to prove it.

You see I don't know. All I know is whatever he did got my computer infested with viruses and spywares. That I got rid of quickly and now his computer is back online. So that gives me about 3 weeks before he uses my computer again. I remember saying somewhere that I couldn't watch replays of warcraft. That was after my brother used it. So I had to completely reinstall it. But the good thing is. When he's not home I check for viruses and spyware. He has a much better computer then me with better virus protection but he doesn't use it.

yea i ll say it again, thats sux as having for an older brother. anyways im off topic this is about your sig not your older brother. like i said before your sigs not bad for your first sig block, just that that smokey effect didnt come off real good

Like I said. Some people actually aren't born talented. (shocking isn't it) Some people has to actually learn how to do these things from scratch. But it's kind of hard when you first started out in Microsoft paint. lol. Well anyway. Even through it looks like it it's really cool. You have a few things you should check. Most likely stuff that your already solved because that is an old one. I'm kind of having hard time looking at the text and your's lack a boarder. I'm sure it's stuff that you already solved. Well anyway sorry for acting up like that. It was the week for my math final. Wouldn't mean so much if it wasn't my very first final. Well anyway I already planed long ago that during the summer that I would make signs and then put them up in a graphic forum filled with very talented people. Then they could help me from there. Right now, like I said I'm just learning the tools needed. Like the basics. To put it simple. Stuff that Microsoft Paint didn't have. Which is a lot. Also GIMP is what you would call. A free, kind of weaker according to guys who also used Photoshop, Photoshop. But really. You can at least be nicer when you talk about someone's first few tries at something new.

I did. I found a forum that have like 10 links on how to use GIMP to make signatures. And also I made it long to punish you for being too harsh on your comments. Even through I respect those now a days. What people going to do? Cry? haha hahahah.

i actually think that the signature looks cool, like illidan is shrouded by FOG! The text is good too because you can read it without squinting!

I think it's really good shadow and I know I could never get close to making one that good.
