yeah we have no choice but to take this game as it is ive waited for this forever but GREATLY dissapointed about the dull outfits and rainbows and sunshine wtf?? xD MANY has complained about that now including me ... they shoulda stayed to 2D or made it like wc3 but not WoW like %"#&%#"& sry about outburst but ive waited sooo long and for what... a WoW dull look a like?

But, i hope they can fix atleast the armors and stuff <.<;

You know what would be good? Connect WoW accounts and D3 accounts, so they can be used w/ the same game card/credit card/payment method... and it stays $30/60 days.

Makes no sense. That would make it unfair to people who only play one of them, and they won't drop the prices, considering they're making a nice little $150 million every single month, from WoW subscriptions!

They'll have a little bit of heart and make it a one-time payment, all you do is buy the game. I've never played the Diablo games (Please, don't flame me, I'll get around to it someday!) but I have realised from screenshots and videos of D1 and D2 they are dark, and D3 seems more WoW-like, and everything seems brighter, and more cartoony, like WoW. They need to realise that is NOT what the fans want. They need to dull it down, and I don't mean set the default brightness to really low. I mean change the textures, twiddle with the graphics engine and PROPERLY fix it. It's being absolutely LAZY just using the WoW engine. They could at least have made a darker, more real version. Not blatantly copy and paste it into D3.

How the **** does that make it unfair? The only thing it does is make it cheaper if you ALREADY PAY FOR A SUBSCRIPTION, not only that, but it also allows people that havn't played WoW to have access into that w.o having to pay anymore monthly subscriptions. This is an option TO PAYING, of course no one wants to pay, I said instead of having to pay for two different games. Secondly, your kind is probably the people that started this petition... the kind that has never played the ****ing game. This is NOTHING like WoW, know why? The ****ing gameplay video DIDNT SHOW QUESTS, IT DIDNT SHOW YOU KILLING ONE GUY AT A TIME, IT DIDNT SHOW ANYTHING LIKE WoW! It showed a barbarian going to town on 4000000 lil guys WHICH IS PURE HACK N SLASH (Which is what the Diablo series, AND NOW WoW, is). The graphics are not 'too bright' also, seriously, WTF are you kids talking about? Take a look at New Tristram, I have my brightness levels on my moniter up'd all the way and its still ****ing dark and creepy... not only that but some of the detail of blizzards designs doesnt show because my screen is too dark! Blizzard makes games for the masses, they don't require you to have some $300 graphics card to play, which IMO, is ****ing genious because thats how they got 11 million subscribers on WoW. Never the less, they arent using the same WoW system you ****ing idiots, trees in WoW are made from 7x 2D objects that are using to form sides and a top, clearly in D3 its an entire ****ing object.
BEP, you said youve never played diablo yet you still comment that D3 doesn't look how the diablo game should... GTFO. Also, 'cartoony' graphics indicate BOLD BLACK lines around characters/npcs/environment. I've seen all 29 screen shots and watched the gameplay video... (and trailer, but thats not gameplay graphics) and as I scroll through the screenshots once more, I SEE NO BOLD BLACK LINES.

And the only problem with D3 is that they removed the 'light radius', and made it real life lightning.. oh noez. And yeh, darker graphics hurt my eyes a little..

You have to remember that Diablo isn't an MMORPG, it's an Action RPG, so they shouldn't charge the huge prices of WoW for the casual gamer. They've also neglected to account for the number of new and returning players coming back to Diablo 2 as a result of the D3 hype, so maybe Blizzard is going to just say screw it, like Starcraft Ghost.

They always make the screenshots at max brightness instead of them 50% default to show off the graphics - look at those d1 pics - if anything d3 is going to be darker. And as for making the game 2d - if anything they should be more creative with their games, not less, as they usually play on the cautious side and don't change much between titles.

@ Unregistered, well.. good to see at least someone realizes Diablo isnt a MMO. And they won't drop it.. starcraft ghost got killed because Blizzard can't make FPS, let alone destroy the good name of starcraft.

I'm going to say this right now. I would rather have a dark, evil, rated M, Diablo-like graphics rather than happy, bright, colorful graphics. But a few things comes to mind; Blizzard could add a feature that can make the graphics like Diablo II or like WoW, I can play with my monitor's brightness settings so the graphics would be darker, and that the game could have colorful graphics in the beginning of the game and then slowly move to the Diablo II graphics as you move up Acts.

But in truth, rather Blizzard decides to do something to make the old Diablo fans happy or not. As long as I can buy the game, online play will be free, and it's a Blizzard-quality game. I'm going to buy it.
