  |  CERN sued for possible doomsdays device The world’s largest particle accelerator, Large Hadron Collider (LHC), there is placed as a 27 km (~88582.7 feet) long ring beneath the surface under France and Switzerland, is almost ready for use. The scientists are anxious about the first results but not all are just as anxious. Two people from USA, Luis Sancho and Walter Wagner, is afraid that LHC could lead Earth to its doom and therefore have chosen to sue the project. The reason to their anxiety is that they believe LHC might generate miniature black holes, there will be big enough to cause damage on Earth. Another theory is LHC might generate magnetic monopoly or so-called “Stangelets”, objects that Wagner and Sancho believes can have an unpredictable property, that can affect the structure of atoms. Wagner have previous claimed some similar accusations against others particle accelerator, and mean that CERN should postpone the project of LHC with 4 months, so the safety about the project can be investigate further. The scientists on the staff of LHC project reject the charges as completely incredibly, but still make preparations for a turn in courtroom.
