There has been a lot of talk about Windows Vista, at least on how is not winning into the business market, where Windows XP is far superior.

Now it looks like even Bill Gates isn't that impressed of their new operation system. In an interview to the American website "Gizmodo", Bill Gates made a comment that could be interpret as he did think Vista wasn’t the best thing that they have made.

The question was which product, within 5 latest years, could have been given some finishing touches, to that he answers "Ask me again when we have release the next version of Windows".

Naa Vista is a system hogger. Uses way to much cpu power to make the effects and not to talk about the ram it eating. More like "Windows Vista; THE RAM EATER!". And they had absolutely had to make some "changes" to the core files so all the old programs couldn't work.
Bleh, good thing it's only my laptop that is running Vista.

Vista does suck, they put too much into making sure your legal. I've also heard it takes a gigabyte of RAM on it's own.

Id have to say u couldnt pay me to change from XP to Vista. it has sooo many proxies and other garbage on it. and also like someone said above, it backs itself up taking 1G. i cant stand when windows updates its kernals just so people have to buy it. there rolling around in there vaults like scrooge Mic Duck

Now the problem arises.. what are gaming companies going to do about Direct X10!? If vista is such a pos, its risky to dive the gaming industry into such an OS.. but the additions of DX10 are vast, and imo, is the only thing going for vista.

If Vista wouldn't have DX10 I think none in the whole world have bought it... the Premium edition costs like 800 or 900€ I think - not rly sure since I keep all the PCs in thefamiliy running with a rly rly rly old cracked version of XP and all with the same code on em ^^... nevermind... yet still I would get SuSe Linux if someone would have some probs with this...

Hope SC2 leeps thegraphics it has then I don't need a new PC and Vista ... but since it's Blizzard it'll be downward compatible I think...

I actually have vista, and personally I like it, I have yet to experience any problems with it. It does take more resources, but if you compared XP's requirements with what was standard on comps when xp came out, they were also pretty high

I also have vista and i dont have many problems as well there are a few bugs but nothing that makes me hate it. I found a way around that gay ass user access control thing so after that its like XP just better lookin if u get a new PC u might as well get it
